Loyal readers at MajorWager already know who I’m backing when Houston plays host to the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday afternoon.
In an interview this morning on 3ManFront hosted by Pat Smith and Landrum Roberts on WJOX in Birmingham, I shared multiple plays for this week’s outstanding slate of football games.
My picks included a selection on the side for Notre Dame vs. Penn St. in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff, although I clearly indicated that it was a smaller play (units/amount-wise) compared to my other selections. And, by the way, most books adjusted the Fighting Irish from -2.5 or -2 to -1.5 or -1 late Tuesday.
Penn St. LB Abdul Carter remains a game-time decision, according to Penn St. head coach James Franklin.
“We anticipate Abdul playing,” Franklin said. “He’s doing everything he possibly can to play….but it’ll be a game-time decision. And we’ll see.”
In 15 games this year, Carter has recorded 63 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, three passes broken up and two forced fumbles. He had three tackles, two TFL’s and one sack in the 38-10 home win over SMU to start the CFP.
I also had plays on the total for Ohio St. vs. Texas and this prop wager on Buckeyes’ freshman sensation Jeremiah Smith.
Make sure to listen to the interview to hear other plays in the NFL for Pittsburgh at Baltimore, Washington at Tampa Bay and a three-game money-line parlay.
