FanDuel has released its numbers for the hypothetical sides and totals for six different games in the quarterfinals of the 2025 College Football Playoff. The two potential matchups that were left out were James Madison vs. Texas Tech and Tulane vs. Georgia.
The betting shop has #1 seed Indiana as a 6.5-point favorite (at a -104 price) vs. Alabama at the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. The Crimson Tide has +176 money-line odds, while the total is 51.5 points (‘under’ -115, ‘over’ -105).
FanDuel has the Hoosiers as 8.5-point favorites (-115) vs. Oklahoma with a total of 41.5 (‘over’ -115, ‘under’ -105). The Sooners are +290 on the money line.
Ohio St., the #2 seed, is installed as a 7.5-point ‘chalk’ (-115) vs. Texas A&M. The total is 48.5 points (‘over’ -115, ‘under’ -105), and the Aggies are +255 on the money line.
The Buckeyes are -9.5 (-120) for a potential showdown vs. Miami at AT&T Stadium for the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, TX. The total is 44.5 points (‘under’ -115, ‘over’ -105), while the Hurricanes are +290 money-line ‘dogs.
Kirby Smart’s Georgia squad is the #3 seed that’ll face the Ole Miss-Tulane winner on New Year’s Day at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. FanDuel has UGA listed as a 5.5-point favorite (-115) vs. the Rebels, who have +172 odds to win outright. The total is 56.5 points (‘under’ -115, ‘over’ -105).
These teams met in Athens on Oct. 18 with the Bulldogs winning 43-35 as 7.5-point home favorites. The 78 combined points soared ‘over’ the 57-point total.
The Rebels took a 35-26 lead with 4:12 remaining in the third quarter on a two-yard touchdown run by QB Trinidad Chambliss. However, UGA outscored Ole Miss 17-0 in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.
Georgia QB Gunner Stockton completed 26-of-31 passes for 289 yards and four TDs without an interception. He added 59 rushing yards and one TD on 10 attempts, while TE Lawson Luckie had five receptions for 43 yards and three TDs. RB Nate Frazier had a three-yard TD catch and rushed for 72 yards on 17 carries.
Chambliss connected on 19-of-36 throws for 263 yards and one TD without an interception. He ran for 42 yards and two TDs on nine totes. RB Kewan Lacy was limited to a season-low 31 rushing yards on 12 attempts, but he did have a pair of rushing TDs.
As for #4 seed Texas Tech, it’s a 1.5-point ‘chalk’ (-105) vs. Oregon for an Orange Bowl showdown on New Year’s Day at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The total is 51.5 points.
The Ducks have been underdogs only once this season, winning 30-24 in overtime at Penn St. as 3.5-point road ‘dogs.
