As of early Tuesday morning, the only money-line numbers I’m seeing for tonight’s college hoops card are at DraftKings.
Most books have Oregon installed as a six or 6.5-point home favorite vs. Indiana. DraftKings has the Ducks at -278 odds on the money line.
Most shops have Virginia listed as a 4.5-point home ‘chalk’ vs. FSU. UVA has -205 money-line odds vs. the Seminoles.
Finally, Ga. Tech is -9 or -9.5 at home vs. Miami, with the Yellow Jackets sporting -470 ML odds.
PREDICTION: I haven’t decided if I’m going to play any of these home favorites laying the points in straight wagers yet, but I’m certainly thinking about it. I am ready to pull the trigger on a three-leg, money-line parlay backing those home faves, though. The parlay calculator has Ga. Tech (-470), UVA (-205) and Oregon (-278) producing a +145.34 payout. Let’s go with 1.5 units on this three-teamer that will net 2.18 units of profit if it hits.
