Edwards has 2 plays on the Ravens at Buffalo

As of Friday afternoon, most books had Baltimore (13-5 straight up, 11-6-1 against the spread) installed as a one-point road favorite with a total of 51.5.

Baltimore is on fire with five wins in a row both SU and ATS, winning those five games by margins of 14, 25, 29, 17 and 21 points. The Ravens are 7-3 both SU and ATS in 10 games this year against teams that made the playoffs, including a 35-10 beatdown of the Bills as 2.5-point home favorites back in Week 4.

John Harbaugh’s team bolted out to a 21-3 lead on Buffalo by midway through the second quarter. Baltimore enjoyed a 22-12 advantage in first downs and gained 427 yards of total offense compared to just 236 for the Bills.

Buffalo QB Josh Allen was limited to 21 rushing yards on five attempts, and he completed merely 16-of-29 passes for 180 yards.

Lamar Jackson connected on 13-of-18 throws for 156 yards and two TDs without an interception. He had 54 rushing yards and one TD on six attempts, while Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards and one TD on 24 carries.

The Ravens dominated the Steelers in last week’s 28-14 win that wasn’t as close as the final score indicated. They led 21-0 at halftime and 28-7 midway through the third quarter, hooking up their backers as 9.5-point home favorites.

Gamblers backing Baltimore at -3 in the first quarter and -6 or -6.5 in the first half (hand raised on both) also cashed tickets, as did those on the Ravens’ Team Total to go ‘over’ 27.5 points.

Jackson completed 16-of-21 throws for 175 yards and two TDs without an interception. He had 81 rushing yards on 15 attempts, while Henry ran for 186 yards and two TDs on 26 carries.

In 17 regular-season games, Jackson connected on 66.7 percent of his passes for 4,172 yards with an incredible 41/4 TD-INT ratio. He also had 915 rushing yards, four TDs and a 6.6 yards-per-carry average.

PREDICTION #1: I’m on Baltimore -1 for two units.

Baltimore has produced scoring outputs of 28, 35, 31, 34 and 35 points during its five-game winning streak. The Ravens have scored at least 27 points in 13 of its last 16 contests, including a 35-10 win over Buffalo back in Week 4.

They’re #1 in the NFL in both total offense and rushing yards, and they’re #3 in scoring with their 30.5 points-per-game average.

Buffalo is ranked #17 in the NFL in total defense and #24 versus the pass.

PREDICTION #2: I’m on Baltimore’s Team Total to go ‘over’ 25.5 points for one unit at a -118 price (DraftKings). I still completely endorse this play if the number is 26.5 like it is at some spots.
