I was a guest on 3Man Front hosted by Pat Smith and Landrum Roberts on WJOX in Birmingham this morning.
During the interview that you can listen to right here, we discussed a plethora of games on tonight’s college hoops card, including Alabama at Missouri, Arkansas at Auburn, Nebraska at Penn St., Miami at FSU (Scrub Games pay the same) and Omaha at Kansas City (Summit League totals are a thing this year if you didn’t know).
I went 3-1 against the spread (for 1.9 units of profit) with my four picks in yesterday’s article here at MajorWager.
And man, we should’ve/would’ve/could’ve been undefeated. The lone loss on our card was Syracuse +10.5 at Pitt.
The Orange jumped out to a 9-0 lead on the Panthers, took a 16-6 advantage with 13:09 left in the first half and led by double digits for most of the first half.
A 4-0 run by Pitt, including a buzzer-beating jumper by Jaland Lowe, cut The ‘Cuse’s lead to 41-34 at halftime. However, the Panthers outscored the Orange 46-28 in the second half and won an 80-69 decision to cover by the hook.
On the bright side, we had three winners on LSU -2, LSU -1 in the first half and BYU -2. Those wins beat the number by 57 combined points.
The Cougars blasted Kansas by a 91-57 count. The Tigers led South Carolina by 14 at halftime (41-27) en route to an 81-67 win.
