Noah Williamson committed to Alabama on Monday during a visit to Tuscaloosa.
Williamson is a seven-footer who weighs in at 250 pounds. As a true junior at Bucknell, he garnered Patriot League Player of the Year honors.
In 32 games for the Bison this season, Williamson averaged 17.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 blocked shots and 0.8 steals per game. He made 53.8 percent of his field-goal attempts and 31.6 percent of his 3-pointers.
With Grant Nelson and Cliff Omoruyi out of eligibility, Nate Oats’s biggest need for the 2025-26 team was at center. The only other bigs left on the returning roster are Aiden Sherrell and Jarin Stevenson.
Williamson led Bucknell to an 18-15 straight-up record and a 20-10-1 against-the-spread mark. The Bison earned a share of the Patriot League regular-season title with American, but they lost 83-77 to Navy in the semifinals of the Patriot League Tournament.
Williamson finished with 22 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots in the losing effort against the Midshipmen.
Williamson had 10 double-doubles this year. He scored a season-high 32 points in a 75-69 overtime win over Southern Indiana.
As a sophomore in 2023-24, Williamson averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocked shots per game.
Alabama finished its season with a 28-9 SU record and a 21-16 ATS mark. Oats took the Crimson Tide to the Sweet 16 for a third consecutive year and to its second straight Elite Eight appearance.
Alabama’s campaign ended when it lost an 85-65 decision to Duke this past Saturday as a seven-point underdog.
