According to a report from Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes, Phoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus.
The team is seeking a second opinion with a knee specialist. The sixth-year forward out of Kansas sat out Wednesday’s loss against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The severity of the tear will determine if Oubre is out for weeks or the rest of the season.
Oubre was enjoying a breakout campaign, averaging 18.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
The Suns are 24-35 straight up and 27-31-1 against the spread. They’ve limped to a 11-19 SU record and an 11-18-1 ATS mark at home.
