Chiefs LB Nick Bolton out for 6-8 weeks

According to multiple reports, Kansas City linebacker Nick Bolton has a dislocated wrist that will require surgery Tuesday in Los Angeles. The third-year veteran out of Missouri is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.

Bolton was injured in the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday as 5.5-point home favorites. He contributed nine tackles in the victory.

Kansas City has won six games in a row since starting the year with a 21-20 home loss to Detroit. Bolton has played in just four contests, missing three with an ankle injury. He’s produced 28 tackles, one interception and one pass broken up.

In 37 career games, Bolton has 320 tackles, 29 tackles for loss, seven PBU, three interceptions, two sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft has led the Chiefs in tackles in each of the last two seasons.

As of Monday afternoon, most books had Kansas City listed as an eight-point road favorite Sunday at Denver. The total was in the 45.5 to 46.5 range, while the Broncos were +300 on the money line.
