FanDuel has posted spreads for three hypothetical conference-championship games.
Let’s start with the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta, where the expectation is for yet another Alabama-Georgia showdown. FanDuel had the Bulldogs listed as 5.5-point favorites this morning, but they’ve been adjusted to -4.5.
Alabama was +168 on the money line earlier, but that number has been reduced to +150. The Crimson Tide will take a seven-game winning streak into Lexington on Saturday to take on Kentucky as a double-digit road favorite.
UGA still has work to do in the SEC East. The Bulldogs host Ole Miss this weekend before their trip to Knoxville on Nov. 18. Regardless of whether or not Kirby Smart’s team beats the Rebels, the Volunteers can win the division if they win out with victories Saturday at Missouri, vs. UGA and vs. Vanderbilt.
FanDuel has UGA as an 8.5-point road favorite (at a -115 price) at Tennessee. The Vols, who are +320 on the money line, are 1-3 both SU and ATS in four games as home underdogs during Josh Heupel’s tenure, but we should note that all three non-covers came in his first season in 2021.
In a potential matchup in the ACC Championship Game, FanDuel has FSU installed as a 10-point ‘chalk (at a -115 price) vs. Louisville. The Cardinals are +310 to win outright.
Jeff Brohm’s team has only been an underdog once this year, beating Notre Dame 33-20 as a 6.5-point home underdog.
The third line is for an Oregon-Washington rematch at the Pac-12 Championship Game in Las Vegas. The Huskies beat the Ducks 36-33 as three-point home favorites on Oct. 14 in Seattle.
For the potential rematch, FanDuel has Oregon as a 6.5-point favorite. The Huskies are +220 on the money line.
