As of early this morning, most books had Villanova (13-11 straight up, 11-13 against the spread) 10-point favorite for tonight’s road game at Georgetown. The total was 139.5 points, and the Hoyas were +400 to +430 on the money line.

The ‘over’ has cashed in three straight Georgetown games and is on an 8-1 run in its last nine contests. Those eight ‘overs’ have produced combined scores of 166, 153, 146, 160, 156, 183, 147 and 144 points, and the lone ‘under’ had 148 combined points that would’ve easily gone ‘over’ tonight’s total.

Therefore, the Hoyas have played nine consecutive games that have had at least 144 combined points.

Villanova leads the nation in free-throw percentage, burying 81.7 percent of its attempts from the charity stripe.
