With Tuesday’s 117-95 win over Dallas as a four-point home favorite in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, Oklahoma City (62-25 straight up, 50-37 against the spread) improved to 36-8 SU and 29-15 ATS in 44 home games this season.

Shai-Gilgeous Alexander was the catalyst with 29 points, nine rebounds, two blocked shots, one steal and nine assists compared to only two turnovers. Chet Holmgren added 19 points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals, while Jalen Williams finished with 18 points, five boards, five assists and one block.

In 22:47 of playing time off the bench, Aaron Wiggins contributed 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. He buried 5-of-7 field-goal attempts, 3-of-4 launches from 3-point range and 3-of-4 free throws.

Jaylin Williams only logged 16:40 of action, but he made the most of every minute. The University of Arkansas product had 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists without a turnover, hitting 5-of-7 FGAs and 1-of-2 from downtown.

In the losing effort, Luka Doncic had 19 points, six rebounds, two steal and nine assists with five turnovers. He made merely 6-of-19 FGAs, 1-of-8 from 3-point territory and 6-of-10 from the charity stripe.

Kyrie Irving finished with 20 points, three assists and four turnovers. Daniel Gafford had 16 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for the Mavericks.

The Thunder have now won 10 consecutive games while going 8-2 ATS. They haven’t tasted defeat since an April 5 loss at Indiana.

OKC has now won four of five head-to-head meetings against Dallas this year, with each victory coming by margins of at least six points.

These teams will meet again Thursday in Game 2 at 9:30 p.m. Eastern on TNT.

As of Wednesday morning, most books had OKC installed as a five-point home favorite. The total was 218.5 points, and the Mavs were +170 on the money line.

FanDuel has OKC at -230 for the updated series price, with Dallas listed as a +184 underdog.
