UFC 300 trailers released

We’re merely nine sleeps away from UFC 300 on April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The promotion is set to release its Countdown Show later this morning on its YouTube page.

There are 12 current and former champions competing on the card, and this video released a week ago chronicles the closing sequences of all 12 of those fighters winning their belts.

In the third scrap on the main card, Justin ‘The Highlight’ Gaethje is set to put his ‘Baddest MFer’ belt on the line against former featherweight kingpin, Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway.

Most books have Gaethje installed as a favorite in the -210 (BetMGM) to -250 (FanDuel) range, with Holloway at +190 (FanDuel) odds on the comeback.

The 32-year-old Holloway has fought only once in the 155-pound division during his UFC tenure, moving up to face Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight title at UFC 236 in April of 2019 in Atlanta. Poirier won the Fight of the Night contest via unanimous decision.

The promotion released a trailer previewing Gaethje-Holloway on Wednesday.

We took an early look at the UFC 300 headliner between Jamahal ‘Sweet Dreams’ Hill and Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira back in mid-February. Since then, the odds for Pereira to successfully defend his light heavyweight belt have been reduced from -162 into the -140 to -150 range.

Hill, the former 205-pound champ who had to relinquish his strap after tearing his Achilles playing basketball last summer, is now a +120 underdog at most shops.

The promotion released this UFC 300 teaser video in mid-March, and this UFC 300 trailer was sent out last week.
