Edwards joins popular ‘The Oddsbreakers’ podcast

Is MajorWager's Brian Edwards more bullish on Ole Miss than others in 2022? Find out by listening to his guest appearance on 'The Oddsbreakers' podcast.

MajorWager’s Brian Edwards made a guest appearance on Kiev O’Neil’s ‘The Oddsbreakers‘ podcast on Wednesday, July 20.

If you enjoy preseason SEC football conversation, the O’Neil-Edwards combo has 90-plus minutes of it at your fingertips. They even throw you another 20-plus minutes of UFC picks and analysis at the end of the show.

Are Alabama and Georgia on another collision course to square off in Atlanta on the first Saturday of December? Will Arkansas, Texas A&M or Ole Miss emerge as the second-best team in the SEC West? On the other side of the league, does Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina or Kentucky pose the biggest threat to UGA returning to The ATL?

These are just a few of the topics — among many others — that they address.

Edwards thinks Ole Miss is going to be the second-best team in the SEC West. He notes the exceptional job Lane Kiffin did in plugging roster holes with players out of the transfer portal, in addition to the strides the Rebels made on the defensive side of the ball last year.

Edwards also feels like the trip to Oxford represents the most danger for Alabama during the regular season. He explains all of his thoughts on Ole Miss starting at the 30:50 mark.

After discussing all things SEC, Brian offers up three different season win totals he’s bullish on. First, he hits on his favorite one involving the Fresno St. Bulldogs. Next, Brian lets you know if the Pitt Panthers can thrive in the ACC again despite the losses of Kenny Pickett and Jordan Addison. Finally, Edwards has some thoughts on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

We’re less than 40 days away from Week Zero (Aug. 27) and SEC Media Days are already in the rearview mirror. In other words, talkin’ season is almost over. If you haven’t started prepping for bets and ballgames already, you’re way behind.

Don’t fret, though. You can get caught up quickly by listening to Brian and Kiev break down what’s in store for the SEC in 2022.
