DraftKings has released spreads for nine Week 13 college football games on Rivalry Weekend.
The party starts on Thanksgiving night with the Egg Bowl in Oxford, where Ole Miss is listed as a four-point home favorite. However, FanDuel has the Rebels favored by 5.5 points with a total of 59.5. The Bulldogs are +180 on the money line at FanDuel.
For the first time in the rivalry’s history, Florida vs. FSU will take place on Black Friday in Tallahassee, where the Seminoles are hoping to end a three-game losing streak to the Gators. DraftKings has Mike Norvell’s team installed as a 7.5-point home favorite vs. UF.
Billy Napier has thrived in underdog roles in his five seasons as a head coach. During his first year in Gainesville, UF has compiled a 4-0 spread record with two outright victories (vs. Utah and at Texas A&M) in four games as an underdog. Napier has been a ‘dog as a HC 21 times, producing an outstanding 16-4-1 ATS record with 10 outright wins.
The Gators are 14-point road favorites Saturday at Vanderbilt in a vintage look-ahead situation. FSU hosts Napier’s old team, Louisiana, on Saturday as a 24-point home ‘chalk.’
The ‘Noles haven’t beaten Florida since 2017. The rivalry took a one-year hiatus in 2020 when the Gators played an All-SEC schedule.
DraftKings has Alabama listed as a 26.5-point home favorite over Auburn in this year’s Iron Bowl that’ll be played at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide rallied to force overtime against Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium last year thanks to an incredible drive that started at its own 3-yard line.
Alabama QB Bryce Young led the ‘Bama offense out trailing 10-3 with zero timeouts remaining and 1:32 left on the clock. He found John Metchie from out of his own end zone for a 22-yard gain on 3rd and 10.
Later in the drive from Auburn’s 42 with 38 ticks remaining on a fourth-and-10 play, Young hit Jahleel Billingsley for 14 yards to move the sticks. After a pair of incomplete passes, there were 24 seconds left with the Tide facing a 3rd & 10.
Young dropped back and threw a stroke to Ja’Corey Brooks for a 28-yard TD pass. Both teams traded touchdowns in the first extra session. Then they traded field goals in double overtime.
Then the new OT rule took effect, forcing both teams to attempt two-point conversions on each possession until we had a winner. After both teams failed to score on their initial attempts in triple OT, ‘Bama scored to start the fourth OT. With one play to answer, TJ Finley’s incomplete pass ended the game, allowing the Tide to escape with a win in the type of game it almost always loses on The Plains.
With interim HC Cadillac Williams roaming the sidelines, Auburn will try to get revenge on Nov. 26.
DraftKings has Ohio St. listed as a 7.5-point home favorite vs. Michigan. The Buckeyes saw their eight-game winning streak against the Wolverines snapped in a 42-27 loss in Ann Arbor last year.
FanDuel is more bullish on Michigan, as the betting shop has Ryan Day’s squad installed as a 6.5-point favorite (at a -122 price) with a total of 59.5. The Wolverines are +220 on the money line. The Buckeyes have prevailed in 15 of the last 17 games between these bitter adversaries.
Whether USC keeps its slim College Football Playoff hopes alive Saturday at UCLA remains to be seen. If the Trojans avenge their 62-33 home loss to the Bruins last season, they’ll still have CFP hopes left going into next Saturday’s home game vs. Notre Dame.
DraftKings has USC listed as a 4.5-point favorite, but FanDuel has the Trojans favored by 6.5 with a total of 57.5 points.
Clemson is a 16.5-point home favorite vs. South Carolina. The Tigers are heavily favored at home vs. Miami in Week 12, while the Gamecocks will face Tennessee as 22.5-point underdogs without their two best RBs, MarShawn Lloyd and Christian Beal-Smith.
Other lines at DraftKings include TCU -11 vs. Iowa St., LSU -7.5 at A&M and Washington -2.5 at Washington St. FanDuel actually has LSU as an 8.5-point road favorite vs. A&M with a total of 46.5. The Aggies are +265 to win outright.
FanDuel also has Kansas St. as an 11.5-point home favorite vs. Kansas next weekend.
