Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence tests positive for COVID-19

Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence is out vs. Boston College after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Clemson star quarterback and Heisman Trophy favorite Trevor Lawrence has tested positive for COVID-19.

Clemson was listed as a 31-point home favorite for Saturday’s ACC showdown vs. Boston College earlier today. However, the number dipped from -31 to -28 about an hour before the news broke.

Dabo Swinney just released a statement confirming that Lawrence won’t be available against the Eagles, who are 19-6-1 ATS with 12 outright wins in their last 26 games as underdogs.

True freshman QB DJ Uiagalelei, a five-star recruit, will most likely get the starting nod.
