Bovada has Cooper Kupp favored to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year

Cooper Kupp-Bovada NFL props-Sean Payton-odds to win 2019 NFL Coach of the Year-Jimmy Garoppolo-Bill Belichick-

Bovada has updated many of its NFL props this week. The offshore betting shop has Cooper Kupp as its favorite to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year, while New Orleans head coach Sean Payton is the 'chalk' to win NFL Coach of the Year honors.

The NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award is one of the most positive aspects of any season.

On Wednesday, Bovada released a prop for the winner of this season’s award. Cooper Kupp is a +145 ‘chalk’ to take home the title.

Kupp, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, tore his ACL in Week 10 of the 2018 season against the Seattle Seahawks. He returned from his injury in time for the Rams’ season opener against the Carolina Panthers this year.

So far, Kupp has totaled 792 receiving yards on 58 catches. He has scored five touchdowns and is averaging 13.7 yards per reception.

Bovada is expecting the award to be a two-man race, as San Francisco’s Jimmy Garoppolo is listed behind Kupp at +180. Garoppolo is also coming off a torn ACL, with his injury occurring in Week 3 of the 2018 season.

Aside from leading the 49ers to a perfect 8-0 record this year, Garoppolo has thrown for 1,806 yards and 13 touchdowns. Garoppolo’s seven interceptions are likely the only thing keeping him behind Kupp in the odds.

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook and Dallas Cowboys center Travis Frederick are both listed at +900. There are a host of players listed as 20/1 longshots.

Bovada also listed a prop market for the NFL Coach of the Year award on Wednesday. New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is a +130 ‘chalk’ to garner the honor. Payton has led the Saints to a 7-1 record, despite dealing with injuries to Drew Brees and Alvin Kamara.

San Francisco’s Kyle Shanahan is certainly in the mix at +280, but the 49ers enter the meat of their schedule starting with a Monday Night Football contest against the Seahawks.

Indianapolis’ Frank Reich is behind Shanahan at +325 after getting off to a 5-3 start without quarterback Andrew Luck, who retired shortly before the season started. Bill Belichick (+550) and Pete Carroll (+1600) are also in contention.
