Bearcats heavily favored vs. Tulsa, OU a single-digit ‘chalk’ vs. Cyclones

Iowa St. RB Breese Hall ran for 139 yards and two TDs in a 37-30 home win over Oklahoma on Oct. 3.

Since we touched on the lines for Florida-Alabama and Clemson-Notre Dame in the SEC and ACC Championship Games, respectively, earlier this morning, we’ve noticed that DraftKings and FanDuel have now added spreads for two other games on Championship Saturday on Dec. 19.

DraftKings has Cincinnati installed as a 13.5-point home favorite (at a -107 price) vs. Tulsa (+13.5, -114) in the AAC Championship Game. The undefeated Bearcats are -670 on the money line, with the Golden Hurricane available at generous +400 odds to win outright.

FanDuel has Luke Fickell’s team at -13.5 (with a -106 price) vs. Tulsa (+13.5, -114). The Golden Hurricane is +410 on the money line.

In the Big 12 Championship Game, FanDuel has Oklahoma listed as a 4.5-point favorite vs. Iowa St. The Cyclones are +172 on the money line.

DraftKings has the Sooners as 5.5-point ‘chalk’ vs. the Cyclones, who are +160 money-line underdogs to sweep a pair of games from Lincoln Riley’s club this season.

Matt Campbell’s team jumped up to No. 7 in the recent College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night. Iowa St. beat OU 37-30 as a 7.5-point home underdog back on Oct. 3.

Since losing back-to-back games at home vs. Kansas St. (38-35) and at Iowa St., Oklahoma has won six consecutive games. The Sooners had covered the spread in five straight until last week’s 27-14 win over Baylor as 23-point home ‘chalk.’
