Comments: Love it. cant beat it for betting and laying. Golf soccer cricket is great, not so good for match bets as normally only 1.91 each side so best for non US sports. Great for UK horse racing, you can get great outright betting on the golf, also betting in running on practically anything. downside is liquidity on NCAA games, also keep out the forum, people have their own agenda.

Comments: My favourite means of betting at the moment ... 5% Commission hurts and it takes a lot of time to lower it ... try AH, they only have 1% commission on that market. Some competition would put the pressure on betfair to make the chances that they need to get a straigth 5.0 rating: E.g. their rules about dropping out of tournaments could get dangerous (imagine you lay Vijay Singh and suddently Tiger Woods and another top 5 contender withdraws) ... If you have not tried Betfair yet, give it a chance - you´ll love it!

Comments: Nice place for semi to sophisticated players especially if you can get the commission rate down. Takes some time getting your head around the backing and laying system then it is sweet. Excellent software. Problem for North American players is there is not alot of offers on these sports accept for NFL you are certain to get action on that. Other times it could be a while before you get your bets matched. Check carefully whether you can actually bet from America at betfair! Must have if you play International sports, with the commission you pay on winning bets it turns out to be low juice, which is what it's all about.

Comments: high commission, low liquidity for NCAA events. Other than that very good prices and fair resolution of complaints as you aren't betting against the book. Beware of rampers though.

Comments: simply the best - BUT their commission scheme is a joke - I am not paying much less commsission than a starter (5% is the starting commission and I´ve trouble to keep mine at 3.75%, although I bet quite a lot there :-( ) - I really hope that there will be some competition in the betting-exchange market, but I´m afraid it just won´t happen

Comments: I would like the commission points system to be more generous, otherwise can't fault them.

Comments: 1 gripe: liquidity can be a problem until the betting settles down. everything else is punting nirvana.

Comments: Just doesn't get any better than betfair. 5% at the start hurts but once you get it down you're laughing. You'll never put in another soccer bet at pinny- that's for sure.
