Atlanta @ NY Giants pk

After jumping out to an early 11-point lead, the Giants saw their offense lose momentum and the defense commit some costly penalties. The result was a 17-14 loss to the Cardinals in Sun Devil Stadium. The Giants, 5-4, have lost back-to-back games under Tom Coughlin for the first time. They also lost on the road for the first time since opening day in Philadelphia. The Giants are hoping that friendlier confines will stop their losing streak.

The Falcons and Mike Vick have sure been playing better lately, last week winning in convincing fashion against the Bucs. Atlanta`s biggest problem this year has been consistency, and when Vick gets complacent Atlanta seems to come out flat. Against a hungry and determined Giants team, Atlanta can only hope they bring their "A" game this Sunday.

Simms and the Giants look to right the ship in front of the home-town crowd on Sunday but will have to play perfect on both sides of the ball. Getting to Vick early will be the key in this game. In what will be a low-scoring affair, the Giants cover at home !

Green Bay @ Houston +3

The Texans ran into a powerful Colts team in Indianapolis and lost badly as Peyton Manning threw for five TD`s against them. Carr had his worst outing of the season, completing 22 of 41 passes for 215 yards. The Texans play better at home, coming off two losses they will look to get a win against a tough Green Bay squad.

After going 1-4 to start the season the Packers have won their last five games. Green Bay has played great on both sides of the ball but one wonders how long they can keep this momentum going. This could be a perfect spot for the Texans as Green Bay may look ahead to their following Monday Night matchup against the Rams.

Carr has to limit the turnovers and the Texans defensive unit will have to be sharper to win this game. But, getting three points at home against a tired Green Bay squad that will be looking past Houston to their next game, let`s take the home dog ! Texans and the points !

Dallas @ Baltimore

The Ravens played a complete game, going to OT to finally beat the Jets 20-17. Boller had his best game of the year. Jamal Lewis had some key gains, and we can expect him to have a big day against the Cowboys questionable secondary this coming Sunday. The Ravens have started to show some signs of an offense, and if Boller can just hit a few people down-field, Lewis will then have the lee-room he needs to dominate.

The Cowboys came into this season with very high hopes, but a combination of bad luck and bad play has all but ruined their season. The Cowboys play on Monday night against the Eagles and should be pounded into the ground as Philly tries to bounce back from their first loss of the season. The Cowboys` inability to protect the football has been their biggest culprit in losses, and has nearly been their downfall in two wins as well. The Cowboys narrowly escaped games against Cleveland and Detroit despite quarterback Vinny Testaverde throwing three interceptions in each game, and their defense hasn`t been able to compensate for the offensive mistakes, forcing a league-low five turnovers. The Cowboys` minus-12 turnover ratio is the worst in the NFC.

Playing against a tough Baltimore team on a short-week will be very tough for Dallas to say the least. The Ravens thrive on causing turnovers and will have a field day against the Cowboys. Boller continues to improve and gains confidence every week. Let`s take the Ravens at home to shut-down the Cowboys !
