i don't know, my ability to understand the English language seems to be sub-par nowadays ...

a couple candidates right now are agreeing with Bush that "making tax-cuts for Americans* permanent is a good temporary stimulus." huh?

(*those 'Americans' are the very rich)

if the Dem controlled Congress buckles and gives this lame-duck president his permanent tax-cuts for the very rich so he wont veto a bill to give the economy its "shot in the arm", i am going to puke.

I find it funny that many people are losing their homes and Bush's idea of help is a one time handout of a few hundred bucks.
That money will do absolutely zilch if your house is foreclosed on

I am not saying that anything shoud be done but what will that money accomplish? People will just blow it and they will be back to square one within a week
