Check out a company called San Gold Resources. Listed on the TSX: SGR. A very unique opportunity. This is a company that rose from the ashes of a previous producing gold mine that went bankrupt when gold prices were $250/oz. The previous company invested a small fortune in the property and building a mill. They have proven reserves, a bought and paid for mill and are already starting production. I have been looking for awhile to find a few solid gold juniors to get involved with as I believe we are on the verge of a crazy bull run in this sector. I was fortunate to buy in a couple of weeks ago at .67c and will be taking part in a debenture that is convertable in 1 yr at .80c. I've compared this company to many other gold juniors and it scares me a little because it seems to good to be true. www.sandgoldcorp.com, should be able to buy this company in the $1.00 range over the next week or so. GL.

I like San Gold as well. Love the fact that it's producing. Unusual among the juniors. It's located in the Rice Lake area which is said to be very similar to Red Lake which is Canada's largest gold producing region.

Another junior gold I like is Atna, ATN on the TSX. They been getting getting great results from their drill program and some feel that they may have the next BIG discovery in Nevada.

Good luck degenerategambler.

SG in the stock room. Now that's a first.

ATN is on the TSX Venture exchange. oops.

No, I don't own any San Gold but may consider buying some if we get a pull back. Technicals are bearish and are telling me to stay away at his time. (just ask Baz)

Good call on San Gold and many analyst feel were in the first stages of a long term bull in the metals. Hope they're right.

I'd be very surprised if we see a pullback below $1.00, debenture was over subscribed, I had my original request for shares cut back. One fund that purchased is looking for a position up to 4 million in shares. They were asking shareholders if they wanted to cross shares to them. I too hope we are the early stages of a bull run, I'm betting on it. GL

Re: Atna,

Stock was hit 18% on Friday because Barrick decided to exercise their option to buy back in the Pinson Property. Although it's very promising for the Pinson property in Nevada, many thought Atna would be able to get more if Barrick did not exercise it's option.

GL

Still got my eye on SGR

Thank you Gentlemen for bring this company to may attention.
Generally always bullish on Gold. Especially considering US debt coming due
in the next 10 years. To be followed by the cost of the current war debt.
The fact that the Defense Department has been misplacing a few Trillion
here and there doesn't help, wa,wa,wa.....
One point of consideration is that global funds that were previously earmarked
for the US Bond and Treasury Markets will draw growing competion from China and
other developing nations. At a time when the US has a deteriating blance sheet
making the US Dollar less attractive. China's currency is back 90% by gold.
One of the few world currencys that are. South Africa and the Swiss.
That the only one's I know about, although there probably a few others.
I'll take a look at the Company. The fact that it's on the Toronto Exchange
means one can invest in it with more confidence than if it was on the more
speculative Vancouver Exchange.
If one is going to Speculate in wildcats or startups, a rising bull market is a good
time to do so. The tide tends to lift the entire sector.
The Vancouver is a Gold Speculator's dream.
Stocks are constantly skyrocketing and crashing.
Follow the moving averagees and watch the Daily Volume Averages.
Look for Spikes.

Thanks for participating in Stock Talk.
Have been Super busy lately.
Will try to get back to you soon,

gl,
baz

Anyone dabble a little, trading at $1.27 now but the 1st brick of gold will poured in the next 10-14 days, I'll be surprised if we're not trading at $2-$3 in the next 3 mos.

Great call Degenerate. The fact that gold is trading above $650 doesn't hurt either.

BTW, San Gold is one of the only juniors that has a commercial in regular rotation on ROB TV (Canada's CNBC).

With gold about to go to the moon (cross my fingers) I'm surprised that we haven't seen a bigger move.

With all the news in Latin America about expropriating resources, country risk is going to be top of mind for a lot of investors as well, being in Manitoba Canada is a huge bonus.

They talk about gold trading at 25 year highs but with inflation, gold to make new highs would need to trade at closer to $2,000/oz in comparison to 1980.

A monkey throwing darts would have a hard time not making money in the gold sector as this point, however, those with the real goods will really deliver. The next 12-24 mos. should be a lot of fun.

action, I'm happy to hear someone jumped in. I don't think you'll need to be lucky with this one. The only danger I see is selling too soon. $5-$6 by Sept.

action, when there was a big sell off in the gold sector yesterday, SGR stayed even on the day. They're in NY right now for the gold show, will trade shortly on the AMEX which will make things easier for US investment and are in the process of doing their 1st gold pour. If you believe in the sector, which I do strongly, this is an outstanding place to be. Go to www.stockhouse.com v.sgr is the symbol. Check out posts by marketminer, like any forum you have to tune out a lot of crap but there is some good info there mixed in with the usual bashers and pumpers.

Thanks DG,

We took a bit of a hit today losing at the end of the day. However I got in at 1.51 so i'm still up for now. I believe that gold might still reach 1000 oz. So i'm gonna hold onto this. If we get lucky and move to $3 somewhere down the road, than I might sell. For now, i'll hold it. Once a gambler, always a gambler.

Thanks

action, I think we'll see a lot of volatility in the gold sector, the swings will be wide, but the trend should be your friend and that is up. The bull needs to stop and be fed.
