Hello joejoe,

Thanks for the report. RSSYF had a good day on Friday, up +3.5% on +934% increase in Average Trading Volume.
Overall +9.0% since being placed on our "Watchlist" with a very good chance to continue upwards.
Will be continuing to study the Company. Looking at the numbers, the Composite Pole would have to cost
260% more than Wood Utility Poles and 180% more than Steel to be less cost efficient.
At some point the cost advantages as well as the Composite's superior properties should help
gain Market share. Another important consideration, especially when great distances would be
involved would be cost saved in having to transport much lighter materials.
Companies either save on gas or will be able to ship more poles at the same cost.
That right there could offset some of that higher cost.

thanks for stoping in,

baz

Resin Systems Signs Long-term Composite Pole Distribution Agreement
2/17/04

EDMONTON, ALBERTA, Feb 17, 2004 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
Resin Systems Inc. (RSI) (RS-TSX Venture / RSSYF - OTCBB) and its operating division, RS Technologies Inc. today announced the signing of a long term comprehensive distribution agreement with EECOL Electric Ltd. ('EECOL'). The agreement provides for the
distribution of the power, lighting and communications utility products being produced by RSI utilizing the company's patented 'Version'resin systems. The initial region covered by this agreement includes the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The agreement contains sales performance criteria and growth objectives, which are aligned with RSI's overall sales targets.
EECOL www.eecol.com, which is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, has a global presence with 63 branches located in the Americas (north &south) with a specific focus on Western Canada. The total direct staff includes in excess of 700 employees, making it one of Canada's largest distribution companies in its sector.

EECOL provides the electrical material supply requirements of industry (utilities), contractors, E.P.C.'s and institutional customers with large and complete inventories (now including composite poles and cross arms), technically qualified personnel and prompt and efficient service.

Hi joejoe,

Thanks for news.
Resin Systems signing a Long-term Composite Pole Distribution Agreement
with EECOL Electric Ltd. has to be viewed as a very positive development.
It's encouraging that such a Company would have enough confidence in Resin products
to make such a commitment. EECOL opens up many Markets too.
RSSYF has been trading between 60 and 80 cents (closed at 79 today)
Investors will have to show some patience, but should be well rewarded.
I like how Resin shifted their focus from Uni-Seal to Resin.
Also liked the fact that they started to manufacture their own in house end products.
Acquiring Canzeal's filament wrapping technology was another good step.
Management has made a lot of good moves.
An improving economy should also help eliminate short fiscal thinking by agencies purchasing
utility poles. There's no question that long term, Resin utilities poles represent a better value.
Not to mention the positive environmental impact. An importance which has only become too clear
of late. It behooves us to strike a proper balance between Mother Nature and $$$$.
It will be interesting to see if Resin can met projected Sales Targets. They definitely have
huge markets to commercialize (hockey sticks, transportation, pipelines, boat building, ect.)
With a stronger, lighter and more environmentally friendly product, Resin's future looks bright.
Although this is rated a "speculative" stock, would have no qualms about taking a shot with RSYYF.
Has a very attractive risk/reward ratio.

thanks again for bringing this stock to our attention here at "Stock Talk",

take care,

baz

Edmonton, Alberta, March 2, 2004: Resin Systems Inc. (RSI) (RS–TSX Venture / RSSYF – OTCBB) and its operating division, RS Technologies (RS) today announced that its Prairie Region distributor EECOL Electric Ltd. (“EECOL”) has provided RS with an initial order in excess of $3 million of composite utility poles and cross-arms.

EECOL will take delivery of this initial order over the next 12 months. First deliveries will start at the end of the second quarter. Further financial terms will not be disclosed for competitive reasons. The order will contribute to RS’s growing production order backlog. Also, in the opinion of RS management, this order will be a catalyst for rapidly opening opportunities with utility companies in the Prairie Region.

Hi joejoe,

Your looking smarter every day
RSSYF is up +12% today on +1911% increase in Daily Trading Volume.
Resin is Up 26.3% since being place on the MW Stock Talk's Watch List.

Even if one set a stop loss around 65 cents, one would still come out ahead.
But if it ever falls that low, it's just a better multiple to acquire the stock.

Hi joejoe,

It good to see that RSSYF remained steady during this recent Market sell off.
That's a good sign. However, it does appear to be near the top of it's Bollingerband.
So would expect it to drift a bit lower before headed back up to new highs.
It's still up 23% for us.

hope all is well with you,

baz

Hi joejoe,

Thanks for the good news, we could use some with how March has treated the Markets.
The fact that RSSYF has held so well during these turbulent days has to be considered a positive sign.
Like the fact that companies are willing to sign long term contracts with RSSFY too.
Don't expect an Up day today, but feel that a Market should rebound within the next few weeks.
We'll be looking for more good news from RS Technologies.
Here's another company which may be of interest:

www.uqm.com

This company should do well long term also. It's now on our watchlist.

thanks again for the updates and hope all is going well,

take care,

baz

Hello joejoe,

RSSYF closed at 91 cents and is knocking at a $1.00
Hurray, up +36.8% since being placed on the MW Watchlist 09/02/2003
Not a bad performance, but the best is yet to come.
The more orders the merrier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wouldn't expect any thing but DD from you joejoe, here's a little DD of my own.
UQM, like many businesses starting out doesn't have a very impressive a balance sheet.
Believe that it has the technological innovations that will make an impact. Time will tell.

UQM (www.uqm.com)

"Unique Mobility Inc. develops and manufactures components for electric and
gasoline powered hybrid vehicles. The Company specializes in high efficiency motors
and generators for autos, aerospace, telecommunication, medical and industrial
applications.
The Company's components boost the car engine's operation, imporves the auto's
gas mileage and reduce its air-polluting engine emissions. The innovative eclectric
motor/generator system also recharges the car's battery during operation.
UQM has provided experimental motors and generators for future electirc-powered
vehicles to nearly every automaker in the world.
Hybird engines can boost efficiency of a typical sedan up to 5- to 80
miles per gallon.
As cars become "rolling electronic boxes" with increasing electric power
demands for windows, seats, brakes, seat heaters, music and phone systmems
and global positioning devices, there are strong indications taht auto wiring
will increase from 12 volt to 42 volt systems.
Unique is retooling higher-voltage electric components for this upgrade, focusing
on eclectic power steering and air-conditioning comperssor motors. As voltage
increases, wire thickness can decrease which will lighten the weight of an auto's
wire loom by 50 pounds.
UQM is also working on a project for DOE to develop a futuristic 12-inch cubed
beer-keg-sized auto prolsion system that can produce up to 100 horsepower
and 1,100 foot pounds of torque for a midsize auto. Power souces may be battery
electric, hybrid electric and/or fuel cells."

Above from Denver Rocky Mountain News by Linda Shanks.

I've been doing a lot of research about nanotech stocks. There a many new
and exciting innovations coming from this field.
