BG,

U.S. economy cruising at about 4 percent growth
Crude oil struck a new record, near $71 a barrel Tuesday, while the average national
price for unleaded gasoline hovered at about $2.60 a gallon, up 39 percent from a year earlier.

"Going into the hurricane we had a shortage of refining capacity anyway. This just
throws a hand grenade into the already delicate balance."

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - The impact of Hurricane Katrina on U.S. oil production and
refinery capabilities may be worse than initial reports estimated and could lead to
a national gas crisis in the short-term, analysts warned Tuesday.

On the otherhand, a comment from Prof.Doug Woodward from the University of South Carolina:
"looking at the economic impact, our research shows that hurricanes tend to become
god-given work projects." Disasters are good for the economy, he said. Within six
months, he expects to see a construction boom and job creation offset the short-term
negatives such as loss of business activity, loss of wealth in the form of housing,
infrastructure, agriculture and tourism revenue in the Gulf Coast states."

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Most policy-makers at the U.S. Federal Reserve in August
worried that inflation risks had "ticked up" recently, with some fretting that price
increases were already at the upper end of their comfort zone.
At the August meeting the Fed lifted a key interest rate a quarter-percentage point
to 3.5 percent, the tenth straight quarter-point rise.
Not exactly a surprise.

Dow as dropped below it's 200,50,20 and 10 Day Hundred Day Moving Averages.
Looks like it close just below it's 100 Day Moving Average. Not exactly on a roll.
MACD now below -0- with Negative volume. Not good.

Unleaded Gas (NYMEX) closed at 2.47...good speculative opportunity, for a Staddle or a Short.
These spikes don't tend to last too long. Would set a trigger for a short at $2.09
figuring that if it falls that much that theb momentum will carry it lower.
Would look just a couple of months out.

In the long run, the increase accross the board in the Energy complex will cut into
both consumer spending and coprorate profits.
At some point, oil will diminish it's own demand.

Continue to look for a substantial correction between now and Christmas, bah humbug!
Bearish, but there's several economic reports due early. Futures very bearish, which
for the most part has been contrarian.
will abide by the Mornings Future Indicators:
http://money.cnn.com/markets/morning_call/index.html

MCEL continues to running well on good volume.
UQM nudging into postive territory (+26.8% So far)

"no new U.S. oil refineries have been built since the late 1970s" WHY?
So much for reinvesting profits back into the business

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kopin Corp (NASDAQ: KOPN)
NanoSemiconductor Company:

Up +61.% since being place on the www.clearstation.com WatchList. Here's why.

HBT Transistors
Ultra-efficient vertical transistors for mobile wireless and optical networking devices

Kopin is the world's leading provider of HBT (Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor) transistor wafers, which power approximately one of every three wireless handsets on the market.
Kopin's nanosemiconductor HBTs generate clear, higher-frequency signals, consume less power, and enable longer
talk time than is possible with traditional silicon-based transistors.

Kopin's HBTs were the first commercially produced vertical transistors.
These high performance transistors are formed, atomic layer by atomic layer using MOCVD (Metalorganic Chemical Vapor Deposition) production growth processes. Our growth techniques allow us to control the size of the transistor
and as a result our transistors are typically one-third the size of competing silicon solutions.
This size advantage along with the tight control of the critical geometries of the device enables our HBTs
to be faster and use less power than comparable silicon solutions.

Our HBT transistor powers wireless handsets, wireless local area network (WLAN) chips and 40 Gigabits per second
fiber optic network chips (OC 768), among the world's fastest. We recently extended our HBT performance and power savings with the introduction of our new GAIN-HBT™ transistor platform. This next-generation transistor significantly boosts power-added efficiency and improves signal linearity for higher frequency operation in cell phones, WLAN and other mobile appliances.

Kopin's HBT products have been used in billions of cell phone handsets worldwide. Our HBT technology will continue to be integral to the delivery of voice, video and data in mobile and broadband environments.

Ease-of-Processing:

At Kopin, we say that a complex structure yields a simpler solution. By forming the highly complex transistors prior to shipment to the circuit manufacturer, Kopin reduces the stress of sub-micron processing at our customers. This enables our circuit partners to use mature, high yield design rules to delineate and interconnect the transistors. Therefore, using Kopin's transistor wafers, they can achieve consistently higher yields on their high performance HBT circuits, even while using simpler, lower cost fab facilities than comparable silicon fabs. These higher yields and lower capital costs
translate to lower circuit production costs.

Smaller, More Compact Die:

Due to the vertical nature of the Kopin HBT, the die or chip can be very small. This allows our circuit partners to
pack many HBT circuits onto a wafer. This high die count, combined with the simpler, higher yield HBT process, enables circuit companies to generate many circuits and more revenue from each processed wafer, while still lowering circuit
prices to their customers.

A Better mousetrap and less production costs!, a tough combination. BUY LONGTERM. BUY ON PULLBACKS.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

RSSYF hit $1.80 today. Up +174% since being place on the watchlist.

Remembering that Jojo got in about 32 cents (+562% return so far) which goes to show one how the earlybird gets
the worm and the profits.
It's a good example of getting a GOOD MULTIPLE.

Notice the volume spikes occuring shortly after this announcement:
RS Technologies (collectively "RS"), announced today that its Calgary facility has completed installation of automated filament winding equipment, capable of supporting commercial production demand for its RStandard(TM) composite products.

Initial trial runs of the filament winding equipment have confirmed production throughput rates
of 1,000 kilograms or 2,200 lbs.) of composite material per hour.

"When integration is completed and the Calgary facility is officially opened, it will be one of the largest capacity composite material facilities in the world," said Greg Pendura, president and chief executive officer, Resin Systems Inc. "When the facility is in full production, it has the ability to produce in excess of U.S. $56 million in composite material product revenues annually."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For all the outrage from U.S. drivers over soaring prices, they still pay much less than their European counterparts,
who have learned to adapt with much smaller cars and shorter commutes. In Britain, for example, petrol prices hover over roughly $6 a gallon.

Europe Markets up slightly on lower oil prices.
Future's Indicators very bullish(which as proven a contrarian indicator).
Looking for the Market to rally on lower oil prices and gain momenteum on
the Supply Management Report at 10a.m.(Eastern). Then at some point start to drift
down into the end of the day. Would note if theirs any kind of late rally the
last half hour.
Investors will also be faced with the question if the Fed can now slow it's
interest-rate hiking campaign down?

going with DOWN on Tuesday.

From www.cnn.com

"gas prices hit a fresh national record of close to $3 a gallon Friday and could
even hit $4 a gallon in the coming weeks, experts say."

Consumers were already starting a spending retreat before the hurricane Katrina.
Recent high oil prices and new hurricane prices will cut into some future corporate profits.
It will help some Homebuilders. Some insurance companies with large southern
exposure will be hit. Transportation companies profits will be hurt by higher gas costs.
Airlines?

This Week:

* The Federal reserve releases its Beige Book Wednesday. The survey of the central bank's 12 districts
is used in making the decision about short-term interest rates.

* The July wholesale inventories report, due Thursday, is expected to show a rise of 0.7 percent,
just as it did in June, according to forecasts.

* National Semiconductor (Research) is expected to report quarterly earnings Thursday during the trading session.
The chipmaker is expected to have earned 21 cents per share, down from 31 cents a year ago.

* Both Intel (Research) and Texas Instruments (Research) give their mid-quarter updates after the bell Thursday.
What the two chipmakers have to say about tech spending will be seen as indicative of the broader tech sector.

BG,

FROM WWW.CNN.COM:

"The Institute for Supply Management, which surveys 370 U.S. businesses, said its non-manufacturing
index rose to 65 percent in August from 60.5 percent in July. Any reading above 50 indicates the sector
is expanding; the August reading was the best since April 2004."

"Investors rejoiced as crude oil and gas futures dipped following the decision by industrialized nations
to release 60 million barrels of crude from strategic stockpiles in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
A barrel of light crude settled at $65.85, down $1.61, on the New York Mercantile Exchange.."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both hurdles proved too much for the Bears and Baz

"Thought it would go up, but that was ridiculous, Only off by 142, mutter,mutter,mutter........"

Being totally shameless, going with UP on HUMP DAY.

GO BULLS!

Futures strongly postive at this point.
Seems to be some uncertainty, which traders tend not to like.
