DOW +155.93 (+)

The major U.S. stock market indexes hit new records Monday,
and the Nasdaq closed at a 15-year high.
U.S. stock futures are slipping lower, indicating markets
could see a modest retreat at the open.

Looks like there might be a small pullback on profit taking today,
however, really want to short a Market hitting new highs?

Going with UP (probably wrong)

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --
It was another down day for stocks after a disappointing payrolls preview
triggered fears about the economy ahead of Friday's official report.
Adding to the market's sour mood, the Federal Reserve said several regions
of the U.S. were hurt by lower oil prices in February.

After a record-breaking start to the week for markets, it's been reasonably quiet.
Friday could see more fireworks as the U.S. Labor Department publishes its highly
anticipated jobs report.
U.S. stock futures are relatively flat, which is normal ahead of the jobs report.

Faced with a recent similar situation where good news could be bad news.
Traders could take a strong job report increasing the likelihood of the
Fed raising rates. Or a stronger economy translating into higher corporate profits.

DOW -278.94 (+) Friday

U.S. stocks closed down more than 1 percent on Friday as investors weighed
a jobs report that indicated an interest rate hike could come sooner rather than later.

"Good news is bad news again," said Gina Martin Adams at Wells Fargo.
Adams said there was a quick jump in the Fed Funds futures this morning.
"The percentage chance for a June hike went from 18 percent to 25 percent,"

(CnnMoney)
U.S. stock futures are shifting lower and European markets are all falling in early trading.
Nearly all Asian markets ended with losses.

The mood is negative as investors consider the prospect that the Fed will have to
raise rates soon in the light of data showing the job market continues to improve.

DOW -332.78 Tuesday (+)

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --
Wall Street was bruised and battered on Tuesday as uncertainty over a Federal Reserve rate
hike timeline played havoc with stocks. Speculation over the Fed pushed the dollar to
12-year highs, which then punished crude oil and other commodity prices.
All benchmark indexes settled at one-month lows with the S&P 500 and
Dow Jones Industrial Average wiping out year-to-date gains.
The Chicago Board Options Exchange's Volatility Index (VIX.X),
commonly known as the "fear index," spiked more than 8% to 16.32.
The U.S. dollar surged to its highest level since 2003...

The clouds look set to part Wednesday as investors prepare to tiptoe back
into stock markets.

European markets were pushing higher and U.S. indexes were poised for
a modest rebound after suffering their worst falls this year on Tuesday.

Relatively tricky spot to call here.
After such a sharp sell off, could rebound or continue to punge.
Good spot for a straddle.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --
Stocks get an A for effort, but they never managed to recover

Instead, after spending much of the day flitting between gains and losses,

DOW -145.91 Friday (-)

(CnnMoney)
Here's a short summary of the week on Wall Street: Rally. Panic. Yawn.
Rally again. Panic some more.
Plunging oil prices and a resurgent dollar are the big reasons behind the slump.
A stronger greenback should hurt the profits of big multinational companies that
generate a sizable chunk of their sales overseas.

They get hit two ways. International sales are lower once they are translated
from weaker currencies back to American dollars.
And a robust dollar makes it harder for U.S. companies to compete abroad

Stocks have been on a maddening path so far this year, plunging in January
and soaring in February before heading back south this month. The Dow and
S&P 500 are now negative for the year.

Monday momentum: Most European markets are rising in early trade,
with Germany's DAX pushing above 12,000 points for the first time,
as the newly-launched money printing program by the European Central Bank
continues to support stocks. The DAX is the world's hottest market so far this
year (Up +20%)

All eyes are focused on the Federal Reserve's interest rate announcement
expected on Wednesday, following the two day Federal Open Market Committee

Specifically, the options that have more than doubled in value are 55 percent

DOW -128.34 Tuesday(+)

(AP) --
U.S. stock indexes are mostly lower in afternoon trading on Tuesday as
oil prices continue to slump and investors wait for clues from the Federal
Reserve about when it will raise interest rates. Investors are anxious to see
if the Fed will drop the word "patient" in describing its timetable for raising
interest rates The Fed will make a statement after a two-day policy meeting
ends Wednesday.

Really a tough call here with the Fed Rate Decision at 2:30pm.
Not expecting a bit move before had but Futures somewhat down.
I going to guess that the Fed takes out the ¨patience´and it
sends the Market lower.
Better spot for a straddle, would expect a big move either way.

DOW + 227.11 Wednesday (-)

(Reuters) -
The Federal Reserve on Wednesday moved a step closer to hiking rates
for the first time since 2006, but downgraded its economic growth and
inflation projections, signaling it is in no rush to push borrowing
costs to more normal levels.

Fed officials also slashed their median estimate for the federal funds rate -
the key overnight lending rate - to 0.625 percent for the end of 2015 from
the 1.125 percent estimate in December.

The cut to the so-called "dot plot," together with other economic concerns
cited by the Fed, sent a more dovish message than investors were expecting,
and pushed market bets on the central bank's rate "lift-off" from mid-year to the fall.

Another trip to the woodshed for baz,
Although the Market may see some profit taking today,
would expect the Market to rally for the foreseeable future.

DOW -292.60 Wednesday (+)

(TheStreet) -- Wednesday was a kick-you-in-the-guts kind of day after
durable goods orders missed estimates by a wide margin. Markets were
slow to react but by midday there was red up and down Wall Street.

"It's jitters as to the [Federal Reserve] rate hikes and kind of the
divergence in central bank policy ... This year we're going to see more
volatility than we've seen in the last three or four years," said
Luis Gonzalez, managing director of Snowden Lane Partners
