Hi Cobramoon,

I would have responded sooner, but have been under the weather
this week. Here's a few suggestions you may find useful.

================================================== =======

Wall $treet Week with Fortune Hosted by Louis Rukeyser
http://www.pbs.org/wsw/

He also has a site at http://www.rukeyser.com

Another radio host Bob Brinker was suggested to me this week.
Here's a link to see if his radio show is offered in your location.

http://www.bobbrinker.com/radio.asp
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a good book about the Markets:

By Ron Insana

"The Message of the Markets," was published by Harpers Business in October 2000.

I also enjoyed the book called "Liars Poker" by Michael Lewis

--------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as chat sites, one that tends to offer good info on stocks is
http://www.clearstation.com

A couple of others:
http://www.yahoo.com "Click on Finance"
http://boards.fool.com/Index.aspx

As a last suggestion, if you check out the tread titled "Reference Links"
found here at "Stock Talk" forum, there are several finanical links which
you may find useful.

good luck and thanks for visiting "Stock Talk",

baz

Market wizards and the New market wizards by Jack Schwager are 2 of my favorites, but like everyone else you've probably read those.

Inventing Money by Nicholas Dunbar was pretty good, a bit technical but good nonetheless.

It's about the rise and fall of Long term capital management.

Thanks for the responses, guys

Love the Yahoo finance site and visit it often
also check the fool site occasionally...

Bob Brinker is on the air here in San Francisco-- very knowledgable, though too much of a buy and holder for me

been a great year in the markets in 2003-- hope it keeps up though I'm reading lightly
