Default CAN THIS BE RIGHT? La Liga Lines

Defending champions and 28-time Liga winners Real Madrid CF are an outsider in the season opener??? What in the world is up with this??? Can it last???

OK it's true, but only barely so...

Valencia dnb -113
Real Madrid -103
2.5 goals: over, evens/under, -120

This and other 1 Jornada 16-cent handicaps and 20-cent totals up and good for $2000 at www.planetpinnacle.com

...guess Mendieta might have to pull in this match on his satellite dish.

Cheers,
Shawn

Well, if Valencia could keep Real away from Mendieta I'm sure they can keep Lazio's paws off him also. Nice to see you're somewhat subjective when setting Real lines

Any chance you guys will book Romanian soccer? Even if you set the max to 5 bucks, it will provide such entertainment value for me, it will be worth it

Goon,

Send me a note at shawn@pinnacle.an and maybe we can work something out.

Thanks,
Shawn--who remembers one Romanian soccer player fondly, even if he also played for that awful red and blue team that plays in a Spanish Mediterranean city.

Which one? Both Popescu and Hagi played there... I'd be inclined to say Hagi since he also played for the Bernabeu folks...

Look out for the Alaves signing this season, Mihalcea, the dude's got some serious skills. He might be a little to young to grab a starting spot in the lineup this season but next year he'll score double digits in the Primeira...

Mihalcea's name has been duly noted. Thanks for the advice. Alaves has had a lot of success mining Eastern Europe for talent.

Yes, Hagi of course. Hagi would make my Twentieth Century XI. Will be interested to see how his manegerial career progresses. Somebody told me the other day that he has a bit of a temper sometimes. Hadn't noticed that myself

Drop me a line,
Shawn
