Default Circled games, or the soccer equivalent, or

Veikaus, the Finn state book, figured Tampere at 64% likely over FC Jazz.

Betzone had the biggest disparity from that, -125, (as posted at Tip-Ex) so I went there to make a value play, figuring, or at least being willing to gamble, that Veikaus had the better line on the game.

But Betzone doesn't have the offer up anymore. So I have to wonder, did someone beat me to it, or have they reconsidered the whole thing? I've seen this before at almost all my outs, whereby they seem to back off a position, not by changing the odds, but by taking the game off the board.

Personally, if I thought I'd put up a weak number (as opposed to bad number, by which we mean mis-entered in the software), I'd change it to the proper line, and book from there. Why not? You still want to write action, and there's not point in turning any away just because you stumbled out of the gate.

well, almost anywhere on any sport does that, take games down, or not put them up at certain times - I have seen NFL games not even be offered because they did not know if an injured player will play or not

But, betzone I have seen do this before. I guess if you get a ton of money and you decide that is it for that game and are sure it will lose? Then again, might want to keep it up and savage the price that was bet to try and cut your losses?

I had a similar problem witha local book.
He had Inter Turku @3,00 - and everybody else (not only Veikkaus) had it @ around 2,10 (the lokal is copying early lines - I donīt know from whom, but he is copying).
And it was the first time I have seen, that this lokal book has taken a match off the board.

I think the books have become very careful with Veikkausliga after first round Atlantis - Jazz desaster.

I think so, too, Kent, about Finland.

But we all know it's basic to gambling that bets are independent. So if you'd put up a weak number and the betting and other book's numbers reveal that, the fact that you've already taken bad bets should not in the least keep a book from thereafter taking good bets. Yet they do exactly that. Just poor logic to me.
