Some thoughts for the weekend
Opposing the big teams could be a profitable angle this weekend. I´m thinking about the teams entering champions league.
Manchester U take on a desperate Coventry. Coventry needs every point and should be more motivated than Man U. Ofcourse it´s wild to think of an upset in this game since even Man Uniteds B-team should be favoured over Coventry. However I think that Coventry, who by the way fully deseved their latest awaywin vs Leicester, could cause an upset. Available at +900.
Arsenal meets another candidate for relegation, Middlesbrough. Arsenal are not so deep as Man U and Middlesbrough have some really good players. I think it´s a big surprise that they are fighting for their premier status at all. Arsenals midweekfight against Valencia should be on their minds and I can smell a surprise. Available at +750.
Valencia are not the same since Claudio Lopéz left the team. They are still a top team in Spain but I think they were stronger last season. This time they face Alaves, a much improved team. Alaves are also playing a midweekgame against Kaiserslauten in the Uefacup, but they have a 5-1 lead so they can concentrate on the game vs Valencia.
Available at +500.
Mighty Real Madrid have a big lead in the spanish league. They could be excused for taking the day of from their meeting with Villareal. The away team has been one of the big surprises this season. Their chances vs Real should not be underestimated, given the circumstances. Available at +725.
Finally we have Bayern Munchen vs Schalke 04 in the german league. This game could decide the championships and both teams should be motivated. Schalke have been absolutely fantastic in their last games. First they beat Leverkusen away with 3-0 and then they crush Kaiserslauten with 5-1. Bayern also have a little game with Manchester United to think about. On top of that they have some real problems with keyplayers missing. Available at +400.
I like these, Janne. I like betting big dogs, but rarely post such plays. I've found too much resistance to the concept of a team being a likely loser but nonetheless a good bet.
By the way, internetsoccer has pretty good reporting from the Swedish games so far. Between them and onefootball I should be okay.
