Default Mexico's goalkeeper flies back home after dad dies

Terrible, terrible news.

From all accounts the entire team is affected. The news conference looked like a morgue.

Oswaldo Sanchez may be back in time for Sunday's opener against Iran but who knows. They've brought in another guy. It'll probably be between him and veteran Oscar Perez.

I can't express my respect for a guy who flies back home to support his family on the eve of the biggest event in his professional life. He didn't deliver the old, "my dad would have wanted me to play."
