Default No Champions League Threads?

I think Chelsea have got the psychological edge over Barca for tonight's first leg, all that's coming from the Spaniards is whinge, whinge, whinge about the pitch and it seems as though they've got their excuse ready for when they get beat. That can't be good. Team for team Barca are superior, but home advantage and the pre-match mental edge means Chelsea will take a lead to the Nou Camp.

Elsewhere Villarreal look a fair price DNB against Rank-gers, and the two Italian sides look set to get something at inferior opposition.

Anyone agree or disagree? (I'm about to commit the cardinal sin of having a fun bet for watching it and I'd rather back a winner!)

Regards,

Parkendhead

Too bad they are playing this Chelsea game on mud... Biggest budget in football and they can't afford a tarp?

After the fact, but I played Ajax Over, Werder UNDER, Barca +0.25 and Chelsea/Barca Over 1H...

You watching DG? I've got the 4 matches on, all in little (-ish) squares on 1 tv. Werder match is most entertaining, Villarreal are comfortable, the Italians don't seem to have turned up yet in either match and the refereeing decision which saw Del Horno sent off was just plain wrong,

I've played a small combination multi Villa, Chels, Juve and Inter. Any 2 gets me my stake back. Looks goosed already at half time

I was lucky enough to get 2 games live... Can always count on Telelatino for one of the italians teams and then TSN/RDS for another, but with the olympics going you never know if they would show curling instead. Surprised Ajax jumped inter 2-0 but the italians are just that good to take advantage of any mistake... Glad to see Barca win that one, I despise Chelsea and all the stand for. would have loved to see the Juve game, Werder is one of those over team that it just doesn't matter what the # is... Learned my under lesson there in a hurry.

I still think this is there for the taking if Lyon step up to it.
