Default What odds format do you prefer: decimal, fraction or moneyline?

Alec once made a case for the decimal system being the most logical, especially when it came to making various calculations. Fair enough with that.

But overall, which system do you prefer just for everyday practices? Which system do you set in the preferences at your sportsbook accounts?

Depends on what I am doing. To Scalp I like to use the US format for ease of calculations(wether it is a scalp or not, is the plus bigger than the minus? i.e. +130 -120). Decimal format is better for parlay players for sure, quick easy calculation for your payout.

Cant stand Fractions, just a function of my always seeing American or Euro format I guess, but get very confused seeing them.

If I had to choose one, it would be Decimals, because I use them the most, and they ae the one that most all books will have on their website. American is not always used by European Books.

Decimals for sure.. Just much easier and logical to me.. Fractions is some old crappy system for the brits only I think - they really should move up from the 70's, and get rid of that and having carpets in the bathrooms, as the only people on the planet

To be honest it sounds surprising, but I prefer the moneyline format most of all. Maybe it's because I grew up with it, placing my first ever bets in the US on college basketball. I don't mind using any format, but overall I'd have to admit that I feel more comfortable with -125 than I do with 4/5 or 1.80.
