Default RCA Championships Indianapolis

Round 1

Larsson +120
There are some very short odds around for Martin, and yet this is a very even match

Rusedski -400
I wish I could find better odds. This is a banker.

Ljubicic has been playing tremendously well lately and should win but my money stays in my pocket until I see -225 or better

Ginepri -120

Massu is available at - 500 but such a bet is only for the brave (I'd not want to risk so much for so little) But Ram would have to be better than I've seen him play before to cause an upset

So here's hoping all 5 win

Sandy

I like
MARTIN 1.90 vs larsson
SARGSIAN 2.50 vs lloydra
LEVY 4.00 vs santoro
SCHUETTLER 2.00 vs Philippoussis
LEE 2.35 vs arthurs

what's up with magnus norman, thought he'd be an easy fave to Ginepri?

Martin beat Larsson but the first two sets were tight. Martin fair and square in the third.
Rusedski needed a tie break to beat Montanes but did so in straight sets - he ought to go as far as round three where he should lose to Hewitt
Verkerk beat Ljubicic convincingly which goes to show that Malisse was less than 100% last week and probably needs a rest
Arthurs has had to qualify for a couple of recent tournaments which may have been a blessing in disguise. His hard court play goes from strength to strength

We now await the evening session with eager anticipation.

If Pless keeps his concentration and doesn't allow himself to be intimidated he could beat Kiefer I saw +200 which looks good value. If you lookat the Santoro matches at Toronto Pless gave a very good account of himself and could have taken the final set tie break. Whereas Dent didn't put up much opposition at all. Kiefer did play well to beat Mirnyi at Cincinnati but I don't think that was good enough to justify odds around -150.

I recommend anyone reading this to have a small bet on Pless. I hope I'm right. I certainly think you'll be getting "value"

Does anybody have a good score site for this week's Indy tourney? Ever since Interwetten's epulse site's gone bad I've been searching for a good tennis in progress site.

The tourney's official site is shite...

steve where did you find 1.90 on martin?

looks like you were right about Norman, too. Did have Ginepri as a reasonable fave there though myself.

ok thanks

Yeah, the ATP is very inept, that is for sure. A sporting organisation that not dedicated to getting scores out, even after matches. Like that would be work or something?

Goon,

try betandwins Live-scores - go to their site and on the left there is a scroll-down menu, where you can find it - I use this since Interwettens enet.... isnīt working any longer.
Itīs also good for soccer, because you donīt have to open a seperate window, if you want to see scorer, time of goal,..., but only place the mouse on the result and then the details are shown.

Itīs IMO a fantastic site, because you can also check H2Hīs, last results,..... with one mouse click.

I get the impression that the most up to date RCA scores are on http://www.rcatennis.com/news/pages/news.htm but that these need to be refreshed. You don't get the game point by point but you do know who are on court and when the match is over you know what the result is

Rusedski is the banker bet today
Other winners (3 set matches in my view)
Clement
Schuettler
Haas (provided the shoulder and other family worries don't interfere)

I'm looking for
Rusedski at better than -300
Schuettler at better than -250
Haas at better than -210
Clement at better than -220

Any takers?

Who are going into the final?
Schuettler should beat Mantilla but it will take 3 sets
Rusedski is on a roll and Haas is less than 100% I'm on Rusedski at +115
