Default Meadowlands 7/24

Race 4

#1 So Artsi

Disclaimer: This is an elimination race where the top 5 finishers (of 7 horses) qualify for the final next week. Campbell has a history of under driving in these types of races (usually the smart thing to do).

That said.......

If Campbell turns her loose, she will DESTROY these. She has every chance to be a "great" horse. I caught her race last week at Woodbine. She was simply awesome. Her performance was "impossible" in numerous ways.

Nice call ITP....LaChance and Miller were the 2 under drivers this elim. But they weren't getting near the 1 any way....but one of them could have hit the ticket had the money been down.

Ok, it isn't the Meadowlands, but it's like the Meadowlands of the midwest.

Balmoral Park
Race 7
#5 is out of this year's top new Illinois sire (Art's Conquest) and the champion filly Incrdashell, who was simply an awesome horse for Jim Curran back in the early 90's. She has produced good ones in the past and this one has 2 very good qualifiers (1 beating Doctor Dorsch who won his debut handily and is in the 2nd race tonight...so watch how he does again despite the trainer driving and the bad post. The 2nd qualifier was over the 1/2 mile oval where he made a break).

It is a tough spot to debut, but with a trip he can surprise and I'm expecting close to 6-1.

Thanks Tony,

She was a little lazy on the lead, but totally in control through the lane.

3-5? WTF! Which one of you did that?

I made a big bet early to knock her down and thought she would drift up to 8-5 or 9-5, then I could come back in again. I was wrong about that.

Thanks Grady....I was hoping we might get a bit juicier price, but to be honest that his a nice horse. The one he beat is about the 3rd best in the state right now, so that is a sign of good things to come.
