very few punters are brave enough to pick just one.most
tend to select about 3 on average.

Some National info for you.

Go to this site then top right hand side where it says spotlight hit that and you will get a nice form report.

Can you wager on how many horses will finish? If so where?

Thanks in advance!

I do like "Youneverwalkalone" but field is so big that its hard to have a decent bet.
Site I use allows you to be the bookie (betting exchange) and the National is one of the best races to hold bets as there are many in the field that realistically have no show but the nobs in England put their runners in the race due to its prestige.

I think bet365 has that option, Aly, if you call it in. Might have it online.

Thanks Turk, I have no clue on these races, and was looking to have some fun if such a wager existed. Is the race on live anywhere? I know NBC used to cover it

Worth noting that jockey Ruby Walsh has opted for Shotgun Willy at 12-1 rather than Ad Hoc 11-1 who he rode in the National last year but was brought down four fences out. Walsh is convinced that he was going to win.

Kiwi,

Youneverwalkalone is still 10s. Are they running for sure?

By the way, CF Swan, who trains the horses he rides, was interviewed on ATTHERACES before the last @ Aintree. He said the ground was not right for the horse and he liked other horses. He then proceeded to romp to victory!

Recent history indicates one should steer clear of horses
carrying 11 stone-0+up,but i'm parital to Behrajan just
because i'm attracted to horses that are physically odd
and he is an extremely strapping fellow.
I'm going also to include Gunner Wellburn, experience on
the course tempered with a trainer who was instructed
by one of the best.

henrietta Knight has been one of my favourite trainers but
Chives is a bit overbet for my liking.can't bet them all now
can i.
I'll probably throw Royal Predica in there as well.

Younwalone won't be able to stay.At least i hope not.

Picking horses in the grand national is like choosing
produce at the market.I'll have one of those, and two
that.etc,etc.
i also want to see who Pricewise(mel) and alan potts
fancy. which reminds me....

I've decided to play one horse of at least 16-1 odds e/w.

more interested in mccoy's copeland to beat rooster booster in the race before though...

Youllneverwalkalone's owner must be a Liverpool fan. Maybe I'll put a couple on him too.

I've got a San Antonio spurs from last night-Ad Hoc parlay going that pays 18-1. It's my one bet for the race.

Good luck to all!

turk - huge THANK YOU...have been wishing for some sort of link to see this stuff live. And now I can. Much much appreciated.

If anybody is having trouble making the link work, you have to open it in WINDOW'S MEDIA PLAYER in their OPEN URL field. Just cut and paste it right in and away you go.

I first tried just cutting and pasting it into IE but that didn't work for me, but putting it into Media Player works great.

thanks again turk. this is so sweet!!!!
