Default A message from your captain.............

In about 3 hours, we will be on our way to a nice, warm beach or we will be up to our eyeballs in toilet water. Anyway, I tossed it out and those who responded were all in favor. No one had a dollar amount but indicated they would be happy no matter the outcome. I don't think it gets much better than this. So here it is gentlemn.

STRAIGHT WAGER 03/30 [1721] MICH STATE 1ST-HALF u63 $44.00 $40.00

STRAIGHT WAGER 03/30 [722] TEXAS -190 $475.00 $250.00

I have never said this before, at least not in public.

Great call by Sooner. Too bad it was a money line bet, and not against the spread.

We still need to win some more games though. I think we would need at least $1000 in there before we take anything out because I don't think it would be nice if we pulled it all out because we should show some loyalty to the Devil for giving us the free account.

As far as getting $25 free dollars every 500 posts, I don't know if that is true, or else we would have to remind the Devil about the all the guys that pass these milestones. I don't really want to bother him with all that stuff, as I had sent him many e-mails before just to get this thing going.

I was going to ask at some point if I was credited the $25 in advance since I do not have the 500 posts yet.

Buck, I am pretty sure the Devil gave us credit for those that hadn't reached their 500 post milestone. You'd better get there fast because if we make a withdrawal before you reach 500 posts, then you don't qualify for your share according to rule 127, section 25a.

I do think that we get $25 free account every time we pass 500 posts, so we can keep re-qualifying.

Yeah, maybe I will have to upload my collection into the "pics of chics" thread in The Canteen. That should be at least 6000 posts right there.

Cerb,
I kindof remember that me, Buck, Handy and Jr never got credited.

One reason when you guys have a "vote" similar to SFs poll yesterday- I do not really feel I should participate.

Buck,

<< Yeah, maybe I will have to upload my collection into the "pics of chics" thread in The Canteen. That should be at least 6000 posts right there. >>

LMAO. If you go ahead and do that, then you would qualify for 12 free $25 accounts if I am not mistaken.

Dennis,

You, Buck, JR476, and the others who have not yet reached their milestone are all "FULL" members. Don't hestitate to post picks, suggestions, vote on matters, etc...

I am pretty sure that the account has been rolled over, and that we have pretty much fulfilled our posting obligations to the Devil.

I think that the posting bonus is still in effect however from a marketing/business choice I do not know if they will want to continue to add to an account that has gained a few hundred. A player with a free 25 shot is not likely to beat you. However, adding to our account as a group may not make good business sense.

I am sure we have met the rollover requirement several times over by now. Personally, I would like to hit 1200 before we pull anything out. It might be in our best interest to set a level to draw out if our balance sinks below a certain amount.

My personal preference would be to put that money or a portion of that money towards large pick six pools ( in excess of 250K ). I am not sure what would be the best way to go about it. Timmy, someone that has easy access towards an OTB site, or an online horse site that takes pick six wagers.

Also, I am thinking of changing the format. We are getting to the time of the year where not everyone plays baseball, hockey, etc. So I may just start taking plays from anyone that wants to contribute for that day. I can check them at a certain time of the day and place them in amounts that keep us solvent.

I will take my chances if we hit a large one. Everything above has been batted around amongst us but nothing specific carved in stone. Personally, I enjoy attempting to build the sports but attempting to hit the "big one" in a pick six pool would be where my interest would lie for various reasons.

Sooner,

I know that it was free money, and maybe some of us want to shoot for the moon, but I think that betting pick 6s is way too hard, and if we are fortunate enough to withdraw $1000, then I wouldn't just want to blow it.

I was thinking more on the lines of sending it to a racebook like ehorse, or even Triple Crown, and bet WPS, exactors, tris, etc... which are hittable.

We could even send it to a place like Carib, or WSEX. They both have racebooks. Caribs racebook is better, and they have rebates, and we can bet horse matchups, as well as sports.

But whatever we all decide is okay with me.

Thanks Captain,

from you first mate

You let me think a minute and its not too bad...

"Timmy" cashes gets the 10% fee and 30% thats already taken out the rest of us not to worry about IRS?

Lets see it pays 200k 80 gets gone 120k to split amongst us.

OR did you have other thoughts?
