Default Is there anyway I can get away from this hand? (Poker)

Was playing $200 NLH earlier

Raise to 4xBB from early position with AA
Button calls and BB calls

Flop is 2 2 10 rainbow
I bet pot - button calls - BB folds

Turn is a 4
I bet pot - button calls

River is a 2
I go all in (slightly more than pot) and get called expecting to see J10 or 10/9

10 10

No

But the person can hold 10 10 especially he did not RR on the flop or turn. He may be slow playing his boat

Buck - If I was in your shoes I would've played the same way. Player can have A10, pocket 10s and up after the call on the flop...

Very tough play, a hand like this with a flop like this pretty much means disaster considering the player never showed strength on any streets.

A check on turn might be a play - however, the opponent would like make a bet smal enough for you to call.....

I'd put all my chips in with it. Even if I got raised.

I saw this last night and all I could think is it's one of those hands you are just screwed on.

I wonder how he would have played his 10-10 had your positions been reversed? Anyway, crappy break there Buck..

You let them in WAY too cheap before the flop - 4xBB is nothing, you gotta pop them for more. Dont know if you were trying to get cute with it or whatever, but I'd be all-in from the start.

This isnt just "a pair" - this is the best starting hand possible - all-in is a great move with this hand and position.

sometimes i swear poker aint worth the fuc-king aggravation....about a month back i had a stretch of 2 months where i couldnt lose....my best stretch in over a year....now im back ina funk....ill play a SNG win, then bust out 3or4 in arow on flush over flush or like what happened last night i raise with AA get called flop comes J34 i bet out get raised go all in and get called by JJ....go play PLO....get delt QQKX w/ 2diamonds...flop comes QXX with 1 diamond...im firing as best i can...needless to say guy is calling me the whole fu-cking way with 2pair...turn is 2nd diamond...river the 3rd diamond...so instead of having the nuts on the turn with the trip Q's....i now hold the 2nd nut flush and im thinking to myself there's noway this guy stuck around on the flop with the nut diamond draw bc there was only 1 diamond on the board so i bet out and get reraised.....i call and get shown the nut flush

i fu-cking give up

Ok, so I should have gone all in with AA preflop? 200x BB? sharp idea

Bobby C is right though, no way to get away from that board with bullets.

You have a great question.. But you know the answere is " next hand, that one's gone " Looking for the reason will drive you crazy.
When you leave the table... Leave the table.. In my twenties and some of my thirty's I used to dream about still being at the game.
would wake after 8 to 10hrs later just dead tired. ( ah, the old days... 12 to 24hr games ) Couldn't do it now... maybe ... naw.
