Default Could Kyle have won if he'd wanted to...

Or was he really giving it his all?

He said on his radio - as reported by the TV announcers - that after the next to last restart he could have passed JJ if he'd pushed it.

This is the one scenario I'd wondered about - If Kyle was 2nd and JJ was first - were there team orders? Deals?
Of all the cars for him to be second to at the end of the race - this scenario came true.

I know he said afterwards he didn't care about JJ's Race, and he really raced him.
I doubt it though.

Disappointing finish.

Default RE: Could Kyle have won if he'd wanted to?

The "I could've pased him" remark was a complaint about debris on the track.

Later, when the debris was gone, he had no excuses.

At the end there, I thought Kyle was going to get up under him, get him loose, and put him into the wall (I'm learning, eh?). If he did, I would've hunted him down and killed him. I had enough bad breaks today with Kurt, Biffle, Junior, and Kenseth TWICE!
