Default MBNA RacePoints 400

M Kenseth 12/1 is taking what seems to be his best car to Dover and he has always ran well there

Two Qualfying Match Ups at Oly
this is for Bobby
Johnson over Sadler +110 four units
I think Johnson should be favored here.
Biffle over Kyle Busch +100 3Ĺ units
This one looks good as well, but it is always hard to price Kyle in the 5 car.

Wednesday 205 PM PST.

Still no Nascar at Pinnacle.

Sheesh! I can't believe that the NFL capper is also the Nascar capper.
Why the delay?

I was also surprised to see Sadler favored in some of these. What's up with that?

Also took Biffle over Kyle Busch.
Busch tested, so am a little uneasy on this one.

I really like Harvick over Nemechek.
I would lay up to -1.50 on that one.

Bobby,

Cut and pasted from another site:

"How many tests can each team have?
2005
As far as I know, the same rules as in 2004:
Each team (consisting of a car #) are allowed five two-day private-car tests and four single-day tests (14 total days).
A team with a rookie driver (#'s 5,23?,36,77) are permitted seven two-day tests and five single-day tests (19 total days) at a Cup track.
Teams can test unlimted amount at non Cup tracks such as:
Kentucky Speedway, Greensville-Pickens Speedway, USA Intl Speedway in Lakeland FL, Nashville Superspeedway
Texas World Speedway, Virginia Intl Raceway, plus proving grounds such as General Motors facility in Mesa, AZ, Ford's in Yucca, AZ and Dodge uses Chrysler's Chelsea Proving Grounds in Michigan.
ALL teams get charged a two-day test date for the Daytona 500.
West Coast Testing at California/Las Vegas in Jan/Feb will count as one two-day test.
AND - For new Cup and Busch teams or those not among the top 45 in the 2003 owner points and/or in the top 45 in the current seasonís owner points will receive one two-day test and one single-day test (total of three days) until they attempt to qualify for a race. Each time a qualification attempt is made, teams will receive an additional two-day/single-day allotment, up to the maximum amount."

Tests left for the Chasers: (tracks planned..so far)
1. #20-Tony Stewart 3 (Lowe's)
2. #16-Greg Biffle 3 (Lowe's)
3. #2-Rusty Wallace 1 (Homestead?)
4. #48-Jimmie Johnson 4
5. #97-Kurt Busch 6 (Lowe's)
6. #6-Mark Martin 3 (Lowe's)
7. #19-Jeremy Mayfield 0 (none)
8. #99-Carl Edwards 1
9. #17-Matt Kenseth 2
10. #12-Ryan Newman 1 (Kansas)

Why would testing this week make you uneasy? He's trying something new and unproven?

Bobby it gives them a chance to get their set up right for the race and definately for a 2 lap qualifying run with no other cars on the track.

I'm letting out some shaft this week as I've got a Breeder's Cup Vegas trip to finance.
Hello Newman. 3 units @ +874 (Pinnacle)

I had Rusty at about +2000 last week, missed.

There was +2100 out there today, but I'm sick of getting "value" on guys who never win, so I passed. He ran what, 3rd? I still feel good about passing.

You could go broke getting value on Rusty Wallace and Mark Martin.
Unless it is a short track, I won't bet Rusty.

As far as Martin, he always practices well, says his car is great in the interviews, and then has a solid 3rd or 4th place run. Usually opens around 15/1 and closes around 10/1.

I bet he if he needs a win at Miami he will go for it.
Until then unless the odds are 20/1+ (Talladega does not count), Martin is near the top of the don't bet list (for wins).

Another value driver who gets bet down a lot is Ricky Rudd.
Little more confusing because Rudd finishes just outside the win in like 15th.
You still see him open in anywhere from 30 to 50/1 and get bet down.
Unless it is a road course or short track, it probably is not happening.
