Picked up some Ambrose at 14/1. Think the play is just ok. The list of possible winners is getting pretty high these days for road races. Kyle Busch Jeff Gordon Tony Stewart Juan Montoya Robby Gordon Marcos Ambrose Kurt Busch Kevin Harvick Jamie McMurray The various course ringers even though they have never won (Said, Carpentier, Fellows, etc). Also going to take some Carpentier at 30/1. I think playing any of the favorites at the prices offered is pretty bad. The top 4 on the list above are pretty close. Factor in fuel milage deals and all the other drivers who can win and I just don't see playing anybody at 6/1.

Good points on Edwards on Johnson. Both are very capable. Also intend to play McMurray for Top 5 if i can get 4/1 or more. There are a few others who probably have a shot like Newman and Biffle. Maybe even Hamlin. In the old days it was pretty much Gordon/Stewart heavy favorites and then a guy like Rudd/Robby Gordon/Harvick might slip through. Seems like fuel milage plays a bigger role with the COT. In the previews alot of the drivers are saying the double file restarts are going to cause havoc. That can't be good for chalk.

Good post Crony. It used to be Gordon, Stewart and Gordon and now the list of possible winners is much bigger. You have to be careful here because on the last lap, the shit hits the fan, and drivers start crashing each other. I bet more qualifying matchups for this race than any other. Good luck!!!
