Showdown Kvapil to Win 12/1 All Star Race Field to Win 16.5/1 (includes 3 drivers from early race and Jamie McMurray) Burnout (at Pinnacle) Clint Bowyer to Win 3.16/1 (heard he has really focused on the event on a telecast)

With you on both Edwards and Kyle Busch. Alot more like they get taken out, so in a sense they are better value for a longer race. Also on a shorter race, a driver like Dale Earnhardt Jr or Greg Biffle more likely to hold up for fewer laps.

I like JR's chances also. Played 1 early all-star m-up Burton over Truex 57.50 to win 50 The 31 had much better test numbers and is bringing his 5th place Texas car. Truex was slow at the Lowes test and it looks like he's bringing his 21st place Bud Shootout car. Also played Riggs on longshot for the showdown 10 to win 300

Good job Crony! The field bet wins it. You're the only poster from any forum that I saw post a race winner this weekend. The books did good, no doubt. Crafton gets his 1st win in the truck series. Allmendinger gets his 1st win in the showdown. Kahne has a mediocre car in the showdown, gets voted in, and wins the cup race. Unbelievable!

Thanks heartman. Amazing how dumb the burnout competition was. Can't believe it was a timed instead of judged event. Could you imagine the NBA dunk contest having the players dribble around cones with the fastest time winning? Thank god the fans didn't vote in Carpentier instead.
