CRIS opened Jeff Gordon at 5/1 grabbed 10x of it. Understanding is Mexico is a relatively simple road course and Sonoma is very technical. Think experience at sonoma is a pretty big assett. Still going to take Myron's lead and take some of the 10/1 on Montoya (figure i will have an overlay because of the favorable Gordon position).

no man, 5/1 was a great find, but i just thought the price was higher since there was a chance he wouldn't race and it would be a loser if he didn't start. most of nv has a no refund for any reason policy. i think that the bigger, stockier guys are the plays this week. everyone has said they have to muscle the cars and for 112 laps the little guys like montoya and gordon might not last. really like robby, since he is cleary a bigger guy and should last the race. also like newman at 20. stewart is a play also. haven't posted much this year due to the fact my posts are short and sometimes mistaken for cockyness, when in fact i just don't like to type that much. i did post the the open and all star race. not have that good of year. losts of 2nds, but that doesn't pay very well.

i think it was nascar attempt to give jaun a chance. although he still sucks and starts 32. if they guys at nascar hadn't called in the fix in mexico this guy would never have won that race. gordon at 8/1 (lvsc) is worth a shot. might find him in some good matchups at plus money. if he races to top 20 (which he should do for fun) before the first pit stop, he is very live. still think robby will be very tough.

Good call on Robby Gordon. Kind of feast or famine. Great for the win, mediocre for matchups. His bucket of bolts will either stay in one piece or not. Think this might be the race a Road course ringer comes through. Picked up some Fellows at 16/1 and Said at 12/1.

After hearing so much about no driver starting worse than 13th....I thought it was interesting to come across this. No driver has won at Infineon Raceway after starting worse than 13th, but Ernie Irvan jumped the start in 1992 and got black-flagged. That sent him from second to the back, but he won. That being said, I still dont think Gordo and Pablo can pull of this feat. There are just too many good drivers and cars ahead of them.
