Default ? for Oddessa

I stumbled upon this site by accident a few months ago and you are my favorite person to read on here. Your boxing insight is tremendous. I don't know where you find half the fight articles that you post but they are much appreciated, as are the video clips, etc. You are obviously very astute. I try and decipher who you like for various fights but sometimes I miss your "hints" in your post.

I did capitalize off of your pick on Tanner and Louiseau(sp?) in the most recent UFC. I picked Louiseau(sp?) because I figured if your place of business were backing him, you must have obviously thought highly of his chances. Thanks for both those winners.

Two questions:

1) Do you do all your handicapping yourself or do you have a team of handicappers? Just wondering.

2) Are your picks for sale? You are very good. There aren't many handicappers worth paying for in my opinion, but I would be more than willing to pay to receive your selections so that I can stop guessing at your "hints."

Please feel free to respond here or to my email: tonymizrahi@gmail.com

Thank you for your time and continued success. I look forward to reading more of your post.

Appreciate that, Betting Prophets. I really am interested in Oddessa's plays though. His knowledge on fights seems priceless.

I was hoping he would have some thoughts on Hopkins/Eastman fight tomorrow. Hopkins is priced very high, but I was thinking Under 11.5 Rd's at good + money might be a play. I hate guessing without reading any of Oddessa's thoughts.....

Hey Tony, I'm not a boxing guy. But I can answer your question as to his handicapping ability. There is NOBODY more informed, dedicated, and detailed orientated than my boy oddessa. He lives and dies with every fight he capps. He's a larger than life charature and never pulls a punch. His sportsbook Betoddessa.com is only a chapter in his book. He has fame written all over him. As for selling his picks, that's just not him. I only wish you guys knew what he's all about. Keep your eyes and ears open, why, because his book has 10 more chapters to go.

OUT BOOZER

I havent been in this forum section for a while Tony, I apologize. I been so busy after the past UFC and with this busy boxing week that I spaced it.. I will fire you an email overnight tonight. I dont sell picks, but have no problem talking shop with good people that enjoy the sport and follow it with the same passion that I do. I do all the work myself with allota outside sources contributing when I form my opinions. You will hear from me soon.

...on the Hopkins bout I agree, the price is too high for my liking, even though I lean towards Hopkins. I made a play on the Over though awhile back at a much lower number than it is at now. I am sitting pat with it as I think Hops will grind out another decision.

Thanks for the reply, Oddessa. Like I said, your insight on fights is why I browse this site. I'll make a small play on the Over tonight, thanks. I haven't followed Eastman, not familiar with him. He predicted a 5th rd KO I believe, not that that means anything. I don't see Hopkins going down. I liked the Under because I thought Hopkins could knock this guy out, but Eastman is a good size. Tough one for me to form an opinion on, so I'll go with your play and the over.

Any thoughts on Taylor/Edouard? I like the Under in that one. I think Taylor will make farely quick work of this fight.

I had already bet the Under and the put some on the Over after your post so I ended up with a wash basically on that fight. That's still better than a loss. I did cash with the Taylor fight under so not a bad night.

Hopkins is very crafty. He doesn't mix it up a lot in the ring. He just sits back and piles up rounds. Not the most entertaining fighter to watch like say, Gatti, but very impressive considering Hopkins is 40 and hasn't loss in a long time.

Oddessa, what is your opinion of Tszyu? Just curious. I like his style. One of my favorites at the moment. I think it was Tszyu who knocked out Zab Judah a while ago??? Judah tried to get right back up and had jello legs -- fell right back down. One of the baddest KO's I have seen.

Kosta is one of my favorite fighters to watch. I think he will bust Hatton up pretty good when they fight.

Any thoughts on Cotto/Corley for Saturday? I am leaning Over 7.5 Rds, but I haven't played it yet. Should be an easy win for Cotto, but I think Corley can hang around a while.

Tough bout as far as the Total. I will check back in b4 the weekend. I think there maybe better bouts on the cards thsi week to bet than that TV one I am thinking the Tiozzo like is 2 high. If his chin holds up, Tiozzo may suprise Michz, esp after Michz's big layoff.

Thanks a lot, Oddessa. Over 7 1/2 it is. Glad I didn't play it yet. It seems you are always opposite what I think will happen.

Any further thoughts on Tiozzo? I never heard of him, but he is +260 at my book.

Good luck on Trigg. I saw that post.

What horse shit in the Cotto fight. Can't believed they stopped it. Two hours later and I am still pissed off at that joke.

Great call on Tiozzo.
