Bodog Press Release
Monday, 12 February 2007

Quickly emerging as a force within mixed martial arts (MMA), BodogFight is delivering its fans the incredible opportunity to view its inaugural USA vs. Russia pay-per-view broadcast for free this Saturday, February 17 at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central on ION Television , available in over 90 million homes in the United States. The PPV is highlighted by the professional debut of Roger Gracie, the latest phenom from a family renowned for producing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu masters, and his bout against former pro wrestler Ron Waterman. Other superfights include Antonio Silva vs. Eric Pele, and Eddie Alvarez against Aaron Riley in a welterweight championship bout. Check local listings for times in your area.

“We are extremely proud to have secured a multi-year TV deal with ION Television to air our BodogTV-produced content,” says Entertainment Founder Calvin Ayre. “The dramatic expansion in distribution reach for the BodogFight and Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker reality series adds a strong element to the expanding Bodog brand.”

With MMA fans eagerly anticipating the February 13 launch of BodogFight: St. Petersburg, each episode promises to deliver brutal elimination battles, behind-the-scenes training, fighter interviews and a soundtrack featuring Bodog Music artists with non-stop action. Watch each new action-packed episode Tuesdays at 11 p.m./10 p.m. Central on Ion Television or visit BodogFight - Mixed Martial Arts Tournament on DISH and Bodog TV online.

This April, the series PPV finale will be headlined by Superfights that pit some of the world’s most prominent MMA competitors head-to-head – check the BodogFight website for updates on what is set to be a terrific fight card.
