I think it comes down a bit. Couture will be out promoting this one out the ass, just like Tito was everywhere in December. Lots of "fans" will recognize him and bet it down, but not until a couple days prior to the fight.

that is what I'm hoping

Couture should see a lot of public support

although I always seem to be dead wrong on UFC line moves

I really don't see how randy can win this match. Tim is much bigger and stronger and has a good TD defense. If randy does get him down tim will likely just pop back up. So this fight will be standing for the most part and i just can't see randy wining a fight like that. I say tim wins by KO or an easy decesion.

08:30 PM 41 Tim Sylvia -261
42 Randy Couture +241

Ultimate Fighting Championship 68: Welterweights
Sat 3/3 Matt Hughes vs Chris Lytle
08:00 PM 51 Matt Hughes -626

no way I am backing hughes at that price

MacDonald looks like a decent bet..only book I see with odds on that fight right now are SIA with a +187 on MacDonald

I cant see Randy winning either. Sylvia is on top of his game and fighting regularly. Couture pops out of retirement to take him on, no way that works. Oh yeah, I agree, Sylvia matches up good in this one too.

I think the odds are about right on Hughes, but I aint layin it.

i like jason macdonald.

he's been fighting consistently against solid competition and putting them away. his confidence has got to be high considering he's won 6 in a row. i would like to see some more power out of him, but otherwise he is a well rounded fighter. he will be well prepared for franklin.

i think the beating franklin took against silva will affect him the rest of his career, he was a cautious fighter to begin with an now he could be downright gun-shy, we will see. his confidence has got be at an all time low and that will be enough to give macdonald what he needs to control the fight.

i think this is a good underdog.

anyone see it differently?

need to see odds up on some of these fights before making a decision

would like to see MacDonald somewhere around +250. Less than +200 would probably be a no-bet for me. But at 2-1 or better I think he is worth a shot

Lytle way also be worth a shot at that number. Hughes coming off his first loss in almost 3 years and he doesn't have much left to fight for. 42-5, 2 time champion and getting into his mid-30s. Not much left to accomplish.

should see a lot of the fav prices coming down I would imagine...the fact that the PRIDE card was about 50% upsets should keep some of the chalk money away...at the same time, might mean that some of the better looking underdogs are too low-priced. Might be a good card to focus on the favorites.

Gonna try to break down the whole card for this event in the next few days...hopefully some books start putting up odds on anything other than the two major bouts

I'm hoping Tim Sylvia retains the title so that Crocop has a chance to knock the shit out of Sylvia to take the title away.

Crocop over tim will be a superduper ogre kick your bookie in his balls play. They are mighty rare in my 4 years of caping only once has a play been strong enough to earn this title.
