Default MMA fight of the year candidates?

I am a new fan of MMA, I've only been actively following UFC and Pride for around 18months so I am limited.

But I have seen that Silva/yoshido fight about 15 times and it had everything that makes MMa great,

I think the Beast's stunning KO of Rodriguez was pretty dramatic, but would give the above fight my vote.

"the Beast's stunning KO of Rodriguez"
you mean Sylvia? his nickname was the Maine-iac I thought. maybe he changed it to the Beast which is better.

I haven't seen enough fights to make a good pick, but I will admit I liked seeing Tito get bullied and smacked around. just so he knew how it felt to be on the receiving end of it for once.

Yea I meant Sylvia, I thought he was Beast, but you probably follow it closer than I do, Maniac is probably correct.

yea RC's complete dimsmantling of Tito was pretty good too, even the smacking him the ass part.

He also goes by the Beast I guess. people think Tito's an asshole when he's probably one of the better people in MMA. those retarded 3rd-grade tshirts give him a bad rep. but I still thought it was good for him to experience the other side of it for the first time. sure he lost to Frank but he did a lot more damage in that fight than he received. RC was the first guy he couldn't bully. a butt kicking from start to finish.

I would say Bustamante/Rampage was the most entertaining fight I saw this past year.

Silva/Yoshida was also very good.

I never did see Coutere vs. Ortiz. Was it really an asskicking?

I never liked Ortiz until recently. I see he's fighting a buddy of his now. I think they're hyping it up for the fans, but I fully expect him to destroy this guy.

what do you guys think?

trust me, they are defintely not buddies anymore. chuck has been chasing him all over the place for a long time, calling him a coward and so forth.

...after the fight I expect them to be cordial though.

I think it will be a pretty close fight, but favor Tito a little bit.

Randy beat both of them pretty handily, I didn't see much damage to him in either fight.
