Default Pride 26 in June Developing...

These are the matches so far:

-Mark Coleman vs. Don Frye

-Emelianenko Fedor vs. Kazuyuki Fujita (ouch)

-Vanderlei Silva vs. Quinton Jackson

-Mirko CroCop vs. Hidehiko Yoshida

Let's keep the matchups competitive and it could be the best pride ever. No tomato cans

Would be an awesome card but after the first three listed fights I doubt we'll see any of those other matchups, especially any match involving Igor as he will be fighting Schreiber in Holland.

Dirty Bob's in for a beatdown.

Nino Schembri vs Kazuhiro Hamanaka is signed and Allistair Overeem vs Ricardo Arona is close to signed.

A few of those other ones are probably b.s. rumors.

Looks like no Overeem either as he is going to fight Rodney Faverus in Holland as well.

when is that event? why would these guys choose that over Pride?

Heath Herring vs CroCop is a hot topic on the UG now.

June 8th. Igor signed for that fight a long time ago, way before the dates for this year's Pride shows were announced. I suppose Overeem wants this fight against another Dutch fighter in their own country.

Looks like Heath is going to fight Cro-Cop. Should be a good one. As bad as Heath got beaten by Fedor, he still managed to get control late in that first round and if he didn't run out of time might have had taken him out.

What date is Pride?

I wonder if Silva is ready for someone like Rampage after fighting scrubs this long and knee surgery on both knees.

That's the one I look forward to the most.

Overeem decided to take the Pride match (can't blame him). Him and Arona is a done deal...great contrast in styles, should be a good one.

One hell of a contrast indeed.

I would think that Arona will be favored, but it should be a lot of fun. Neither guy has lost since 2000, both against tough opponents.
