If my Hawks make the playoffs again this year, they DEFINATELY deserve it!

Hawks play 8 teams with winning records, actually 9 considering we play the Cards twice? We play the Pats (SNF), Skins, Packers, Eagles, @ Giants, @ Bucs, Cards (twice) & @ Dallas!

I might add that SIX of those teams were in the playoffs this past year, with 4 of them being division champs

Two of the losers we play are in our own division, Rams (twice), Whiners (twice), and finally @ the Bills & @ the Dolphins

arrgh. it just dawned on me that our inter-division rival Rams drafted Chris Long. if Hasselbeck doesn't have a Jacuzzi in his home, this year would be a good time to get one ....

on the bright-side tho, the Niners didn't load up on O-Line guys so their QBs will still be vulnerable.

just watched the Cowboys @ Lions in Week 14 on NFLtv Replay.

Lions are ahead by 6/pts with 50/tics left on the clock, and Tony Romo fumbles the ball. Paris Lenon, instead of simply falling on the ball to win the game, tries to pick the ball up an run it in for a score. he misses grabbing it, duh, and the Boys go on to score & win the game.

This is an all too common mistake by players, and it really baffles me why it continues to happen year after year?

In the heat of the moment it is hard to determine right away what you need to do in a fumble situation. His reaction is normal for someone who has not been put in the situation before. If it happens to him again, I bet you will see a different reaction next time .
