Pamela Anderson Doesn’t Want KFC Stamps

Pamela Anderson has protested against plans to put Colonel Sanders on a stamp.

The actress - an active member of animal rights group PETA - has written an
angry letter to the US Postmaster General blasting the request of fast-food
chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

She wrote: "Honoring a man whose legacy involves breaking animals' bones
and scalding animals to death in defeathering tanks is contrary to the
values of most compassionate citizens, and I hope that you'll deny KFC's
request. How about another Elvis stamp instead?"

This not the first time the former 'Baywatch' star has protested against the
fast-food giant.

Last year, Pamela called for a Colonel Sanders statue to be destroyed
because it was a daily reminder of cruelty to chickens.

Pamela, who petitioned Governor of Kentucky Ernie Fletcher on behalf of
PETA, wrote: "The bust of Colonel Sanders stands as a monument to cruelty
and has no place in the Kentucky State Capitol."

Pamela also accused KFC bosses of "mutilating God's creatures" by fattening
chickens up to make succulent burgers.

The 39-year-old's request was rejected by Governor Fletcher, who described
Sanders as a "Kentucky icon".

Pamela Anderson Returning to the Beach

Pamela Anderson is heading back to the beach and back to TV - with a new
series made by the former 'Baywatch' producers.

The blond actress will star in "a fantasy-based drama" that takes place at a
Malibu beach club.

No title has been decided as yet, but filming is due to start in the spring.

Pam is hoping the new project with Handprint Entertainment will achieve
the same success as the popular lifeguard drama which catapulted her to
fame.

The mother-of-two became a household name when she starred as glamorous
lifeguard C.J. Parker in 'Baywatch' from 1992 to 1997 alongside David
Hasselhoff.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, 'Baywatch' is the most ever
watched TV show in the world, with 1.1 billion people tuning in.

Pammy, 39, attempted to reignite her small-screen career in 2005, with
'Stacked' - a sitcom about a glamour girl who goes to work in a bookshop.

The show was axed the following year after just two seasons.

Pamela - who is currently divorcing second husband Kid - is on the lookout
for a new "explosive" relationship and admits she is "impossible" to live
with.

She said in an interview with Britain's OK! magazine: "I want an explosive
love affair again. I'm used to being alone with my sons so it's hard for me
when someone comes in and changes that dynamic. I get controlling and
probably impossible. I don't want someone to come in and rescue my family -
we're fine."
