Pamela Anderson & Rick Salomon to Wed?

Former "Baywatch" beauty Pamela Anderson and beau Rick Salomon applied for a marriage license yesterday, according to KVBC in Las Vegas. Here we go down the aisle again!

Sources tell TMZ that the couple could wed as early as today at the infamous "Little White Wedding Chapel." Earlier this month, Anderson, 40, told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that she was engaged. Salomon, 38, is best known for producing and co-starring in Paris Hilton's sex tape "One Night In Paris," and was previously married to "90210" actress and "Charmed" vixen Shannen Doherty. Miss Anderson is a mother of two and was most recently married to Kid Rock ... for three months.

ANDERSON BLASTS MARS BOSSES OVER ANIMAL CRUELTY

PAMELA ANDERSON has turned on her former bosses at confectionary giants Mars. Inc after learning they are supporting inhumane and lethal experiments on animals in violation of its own written policy.

The famous animal lover, who helped advertise M+Ms for Mars in Australia last year (06), has teamed up with activists at People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to pen a letter the company president Paul S. Michaels, urging him to put an end to funding "cruel and pointless animal tests."

According to PETA researchers, Mars has paid experimenters to conduct gruesome tests on mice, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits - even though these tests are not required by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

They claim a current Mars-funded experiment at the University of California, San Francisco, involves force-feeding rats chocolate ingredients by shoving plastic tubes down their throats. The experimenters then cut open the animals' legs and clamp their arteries shut. After the experiment, the animals are killed by bilateral thoracotomy - stab wounds to their chests.

Anderson writes, "Please don't be a grinch. Until you promise to end all support for animal experiments done for your ingredients, I'll be encouraging everyone I know to choose other candy, like Hershey's, this holiday season."

Just a thought in passing......ever wonder how some of these girls in Hollywood like Pamela have incredible muscle tone and lots of muscle mass to give them great shape yet have no regular exercise program? I'd bet money they're all on hgh programs. You can't be out drinking every night and sleep all day and maintain the kind of muscle tone she's got at her age.....just can't be done normally.

From Baywatch Babe to Poker Ho..

Pamela Anderson and her third hubby, Rick Salomon, are Melbourne-bound to play poker - the game that brought them together.



The on-again-off-again couple's people contacted Crown this week requesting a berth in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship be reserved for card shark Salomon.

The pair could touch down as early as tomorrow or Friday.

Salomon is said to be a definite starter in the tournament, with an appearance fee being negotiated yesterday to bring Anderson out.

The famous Baywatch babe was in talks last year to appear at the event, but was rumoured to have turned down the offer because she was pregnant to Salomon at the time.

The tournament's main event starts on Monday, with many local and overseas stars including Michael Vartan, Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, Shane Warne, Mark Philippoussis and Joe Hachem forking out $10,000 for a shot at the $10 million prize pool.

Anderson said last year that she and Salomon - the ex-hubby of actor Shannen Doherty and Paris Hilton's sex tape co-star - took their 17-year friendship to the next level during a poker game.

"I left the table and my driver played in my place," she said.

Anderson said she returned to find herself more than $280,000 "in the hole to Rick".

"Rick, being the gentleman, said he would wipe my debt if I gave him a kiss, so I have to thank Vegas for our relationship switching gears," Anderson said.

The couple wed in the casino capital in October.

Anderson has since filed for divorce, but apparently changed her mind after posting a message on her website saying, "PS We are trying to work things out".

The mother of two was last in Melbourne for a whirlwind 24 hours in 2006 to promote green M&Ms.
The buxom blonde was paid about $200,000 to attend a VIP launch where she refused to pose for photographs, shattered a glass bowl full of the chocolates and flirted with spin king Warne.
