The most overrated player in the NBA. Big deal he gets 12 - 15 rebounds a night. The poor guy can not even catch a pass. Plus he shoots 40% from the free throw line. One last thing he needs a haircut.

Having seen the Pistons regularly throughout the season, I gotta defend Ben here. The guy works his ass off every game. By all accounts, he is a solid and class guy. The NBA could use a lot more players like Ben Wallace. As for the haircut, who gives a crap? The way I see it, it's a good marketing tool for him and the team. I will concede that his free throw shooting can use some work

Squareascanbe, You are absolutely right about Ben Wallace. He is a good rebounder and a strong defender, but he has hands like a clock and cannot shoot from more than two feet out. Wallace being called a "star" player is a great example of how awful the NBA is right now. When this clown first came in the league, he was about the 11th or 12th man on the bench who was lucky to have a roster spot. Six years ago, this guy was one of the worst players on one of the worst teams in the league, now he's a "star". The NBA sucks.

Wallace looked like a pretty tough defensive player. Shaq also had limited range upon entire into the NBA but has improved that range each year. Like Rodman, Wallace doesn't have to score to be valuable. Let his teammates shoot. Stackhouse has no qualms about shooting. Not that he can become more offensive minded. He needs Iverson's "Stop Me" offensive attitude. Wallace has good inside presence and plays with a lot of heart. Obviously he needs to improve from the charity stripe. Just see him getting better. baz
